其中必没有数日夭亡的婴孩，也没有寿数不满的老者；因为百岁死的仍算孩童，有百岁死的罪人算被咒诅。

在彼無夭殤之孩提、與不得考終者、壽至期頤、猶為幼稚、罪人百齡而沒、猶為服詛、

在彼無短折之年、不得考終者、壽至百齡、猶以為幼、未屆期頤、而殞沒者、人以為犯罪遭譴。

在彼無數日夭亡之嬰兒、亦無老者不盡其壽、百歲死者、仍以為幼、壽至百歲而死者、猶以為被詛之罪人夭亡、

“ Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.

“ Babies in Jerusalem will no longer live only a few days. Old people will not fail to live for a very long time. Those who live to the age of 100 will be thought of as mere children when they die. Those who die before they are 100 will be considered as having been under God’s curse.

No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.

“ No longer will babies die when only a few days old. No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life. No longer will people be considered old at one hundred! Only the cursed will die that young!

In her, a nursing infant will no longer live only a few days, or an old man not live out his days. Indeed, the one who dies at a hundred years old will be mourned as a young man, and the one who misses a hundred years will be considered cursed.

“ No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.

你必壽終正寢才歸墳墓，如同莊稼熟後才被收割。

我今天將祂的律例和誡命傳授給你們，你們要遵守，以便你們及子孫都蒙福，在你們上帝耶和華所賜的土地上得享長壽。」

若有人熱愛生命，渴望長壽和幸福，

惡人有禍了！他們必大禍臨頭，受到報應。

雖然罪人作惡多端仍得長壽，我卻認為敬畏上帝的人必亨通。然而，惡人得不到祝福，他們必像幻影一樣不能長久，因為他們不敬畏上帝。

你這樣硬著心不肯悔改等於是為自己積蓄烈怒，上帝的烈怒在祂施行公義審判的那天必臨到你。上帝必照各人的行為施行賞罰。凡是恆心行善、尋求榮耀、尊貴和永恆福分的人，祂要把永生賜給他們；至於那些自私自利、違背真理、行為不義的人，祂的烈怒和怒氣要降在他們身上。一切作惡之人必受患難和痛苦，先是猶太人，然後是希臘人。
