「看哪，我造新天新地！從前的事不再被記念，也不被人放在心上；

“看哪！我要創造新天新地；先前的事不再被人記念，也不再湧上心頭了。

『因為看吧，我化造新的天新的地，先前的事不再被懷念了，不再回上心頭了。

「看哪！我要創造一個新天新地，先前的事不再被記念，也不再被想起；

我造新天新地、已往之事、不復記誌、不縈於懷、

我創造天地、煥然一新、昔所有者、不復記誌。

但照他的應許，我們等候新天新地，其中有正義常住。

「我所造的新天新地在我面前長存，你們的後裔和你們的名號也必照樣長存。這是耶和華說的。

我又看見一個新天新地，因為先前的天和先前的地已經過去了，海也不再有了。我又看見聖城，新耶路撒冷由上帝那裏，從天而降，預備好了，就如新娘打扮整齊，等候丈夫。我聽見有大聲音從寶座出來，說：「看哪，上帝的帳幕在人間！他要和他們同住，他們要作他的子民。上帝要親自與他們同在。上帝要擦去他們一切的眼淚；不再有死亡，也不再有悲哀、哭號、痛苦，因為先前的事都過去了。」那位坐在寶座上的說：「看哪，我把一切都更新了！」他又說：「你要寫下來，因為這些話是可信靠的，是真實的。」

「你們不要追念從前的事，也不要思想古時的事。

你們在國中生養眾多的時候，那些日子，人必不再提說耶和華的約櫃，不追想，不記念，不覺缺少，也不再製造。這是耶和華說的。

我已將我的話放在你口中，用我的手影遮蔽你，為要安定諸天，立定地基，並對錫安說：「你是我的百姓。」
