我卻要命定你們歸於刀下；你們都必屈身被屠殺；因為我呼喚，你們不回答；我說話，你們都不聽；我所看為壞的、你們倒去行；我不喜悅的、你們反而選擇。

我必命爾亡於鋒刃、使爾屈身受戮、因我有命爾不應、有言爾不從、行我所惡、擇我所不悅也、○

我有命、爾不應、我有言、爾不從、我所不悅者、爾故為之、我所不喜者、爾故舉之、必數爾罪、使屈身受戮。

我命定爾為鋒刃所殺、屈身被戮、因我召爾、爾不應、我有言、我有言或作我誨爾爾不聽、行我所惡者、行我所惡者或作行惡於我前擇我所不悅者、

I will destine you for the sword, and all of you will fall in the slaughter; for I called but you did not answer, I spoke but you did not listen. You did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me.”

So I will make it your fate to be killed by swords. All of you will die in the battle. That’s because I called out to you, but you did not answer me. I spoke to you, but you did not listen. You did what is evil in my sight. You chose to do what does not please me.”

I will destine you to the sword, and all of you shall bow down to the slaughter, because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not listen, but you did what was evil in my eyes and chose what I did not delight in.”

now I will‘ destine’ you for the sword. All of you will bow down before the executioner. For when I called, you did not answer. When I spoke, you did not listen. You deliberately sinned— before my very eyes— and chose to do what you know I despise.”

I will destine you for the sword, and all of you will kneel down to be slaughtered, because I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not hear; you did what was evil in my sight and chose what I did not delight in.”

Therefore I will number you for the sword, And you shall all bow down to the slaughter; Because, when I called, you did not answer; When I spoke, you did not hear, But did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight.”

當收果子的季節近了，主人就派了奴僕們到那些農夫那裡去收取他的果子。但那些農夫抓住他的奴僕，打了一個，殺了一個，還用石頭砸死一個。主人又派別的奴僕去，比先前的更多，那些農夫也照樣對待他們。後來他差派自己的兒子到他們那裡，說：『他們一定會尊重我的兒子。』「可是那些農夫看見他的兒子，就彼此說：『這是繼承人。來，我們把他殺了，占有他的繼業！』於是他們抓住他，把他扔出葡萄園外，殺了。那麼，葡萄園的主人回來的時候，會怎麼對待那些農夫呢？」他們回答說：「他會狠狠地除滅那些惡人，把葡萄園另租給按時交果子的農夫們。」耶穌對他們說：「難道你們從來沒有讀過這段經文嗎？『工匠所棄絕的石頭，它已經成了房角的頭塊石頭；這是主所成就的，在我們眼中實在奇妙！』為此，我告訴你們：神的國要從你們中間被奪走，賜給那結神國果子的人。

然而，他們不肯留心聽，竟扭轉頑梗的肩頭，充耳不聞；他們使自己的心硬如金剛石，不聽從律法，不聽從萬軍之耶和華藉著他的靈和先前的眾先知所發出的話語。因此，有極大的震怒從萬軍之耶和華而來。萬軍之耶和華說：『既然我呼喚他們，他們不聽，那麼他們呼喚我，我也不聽。

為什麼我來的時候，沒有人在呢？為什麼我呼喚的時候，沒有人回應呢？難道我的手臂太短不能救贖嗎？難道我沒有能力解救嗎？看哪！我發出斥責，使海洋乾涸，使河流成為曠野；其中的魚因無水而發臭，因乾渴而死去。

這些話語難道不是耶和華藉著先前的眾先知所宣告的嗎？那時，耶路撒冷和四圍的各城都有人居住，並且很安穩，南地和高地也有人居住。』」

王就發怒，派軍兵除滅那些凶手，燒毀了他們的城。

既然我呼喚了，你們拒絕，我伸出了手，沒有人留心，你們忽視了我一切的勸告，也沒有接受我的責備；那麼，你們遭難時，我就譏笑；你們的恐懼臨到時，我就嘲笑——那時，恐懼像風暴那樣臨到，災難像旋風那樣來臨，患難和困苦臨到你們身上。那時，他們將呼求我，我卻不回應；他們將切切尋找我，卻找不到。正是因為他們恨惡知識，沒有選擇敬畏耶和華，沒有接受我的勸告，藐視了我一切的責備，所以他們將吃盡自己行為的果實，飽嘗自己計謀的後果。要知道，無知人的背道將害死自己，愚昧人的安樂將毀了自己；但那聽從我的，將安然居住，得享安逸，不怕惡事。」

然而，當我看的時候，卻沒有一個；當我問的時候，它們中間也沒有一個謀士可以回答。

他來到自己的地方，自己的人卻不接受他。

至於那些宰殺公牛也擊殺人的，祭獻羔羊也打斷狗脖子的，獻上供物也獻上豬血的，燒乳香作記念祭也頌讚偶像的——他們都選擇自己的道路，他們的心喜悅自己那些可憎之事；因此，我要選擇折磨他們的事，使他們所恐懼的臨到他們。因為我呼喚，沒有人回應；我說話，他們不聽從；他們做我眼中看為惡的事，選擇我所不喜悅的事。」

「洗滌自己，潔淨自己吧，從我眼前除掉你們的惡行！當停止作惡，

到那日，耶和華必用他嚴酷、巨大、有力的刀，懲罰利維亞坦，就是那逃竄的蛇；懲罰利維亞坦，就是那蜷曲的蛇；並且殺死海中的巨獸。

你們的男人必倒在刀下，你們的勇士必倒在戰場。

這子民當著我的面不斷地惹我惱怒，他們在園林裡獻祭，在磚頭上燒香；

他派了奴僕們去叫那些被邀請的人前來赴宴，可是他們不肯來。

你們只能屈身在被擄的人之中，仆倒在被殺的人中間。即使如此，耶和華的怒氣還不轉消，他的手仍然伸出。
