But now, Yahweh, you are our Father. We are the clay and you our potter. We all are the work of your hand.

Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

You turn things upside down! Should the potter be thought to be like clay; that the thing made should say about him who made it,“ He didn’t make me;” or the thing formed say of him who formed it,“ He has no understanding?”

“ Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.”Then I went down to the potter’s house, and behold, he was making something on the wheels.When the vessel that he made of the clay was marred in the hand of the potter, he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.Then Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,“ House of Israel, can’t I do with you as this potter?” says Yahweh.“ Behold, as the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, house of Israel.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Woe to him who strives with his Maker— a clay pot among the clay pots of the earth! Shall the clay ask him who fashions it,‘ What are you making?’ or your work,‘ He has no hands?’

Know that Yahweh, he is God. It is he who has made us, and we are his. We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

For you are our Father, though Abraham doesn’t know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, Yahweh, are our Father. Our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.

everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.’”

Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands.

Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.

Remember these things, Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant. Israel, you will not be forgotten by me.

Yahweh, your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb says:“ I am Yahweh, who makes all things; who alone stretches out the heavens; who spreads out the earth by myself;

But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it,“ Why did you make me like this?”Or hasn’t the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel for honor, and another for dishonor?What if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,and that he might make known the riches of his glory on vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory,us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles?

For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.

“‘ Your hands have framed me and fashioned me altogether, yet you destroy me.Remember, I beg you, that you have fashioned me as clay. Will you bring me into dust again?

Is this the way you repay Yahweh, foolish and unwise people? Isn’t he your father who has bought you? He has made you and established you.

If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.

You shall tell Pharaoh,‘ Yahweh says, Israel is my son, my firstborn,
