Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.

No one’s ears have ever heard of a God like you. No one’s eyes have ever seen a God who is greater than you. No God but you acts for the good of those who trust in him.

From of old no one has heard or perceived by the ear, no eye has seen a God besides you, who acts for those who wait for him.

For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!

But as it is written,“ Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.

It shall be said in that day,“ Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is Yahweh! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”

the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth,and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.

I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

I have waited for your salvation, Yahweh.

Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and received up in glory.

But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him; for we will see him just as he is.

which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of his promise in Christ Jesus through the Good News,of which I was made a servant according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,and to make all men see what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ,to the intent that now through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places,

Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Yahweh.

Then the King will tell those on his right hand,‘ Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.

For the creation waits with eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.

so that you come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Therefore Yahweh will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him.

Behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him.

He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him.They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.There will be no night, and they need no lamp light or sun light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying,“ Behold, God’s dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.”

Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.For we were saved in hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees?But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead: Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.

My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him.

I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple.The city has no need for the sun or moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
