I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us— yes, the many good things he has done for Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses.

I will talk about the kind things the Lord has done. I’ll praise him for everything he’s done for us. He has done many good things for the nation of Israel. That’s because he loves us and is very kind to us.

I will recount the steadfast love of the Lord, the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has granted us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel that he has granted them according to his compassion, according to the abundance of his steadfast love.

I will tell of the Lord’s unfailing love. I will praise the Lord for all he has done. I will rejoice in his great goodness to Israel, which he has granted according to his mercy and love.

I will make known the LORD’s faithful love and the LORD’s praiseworthy acts, because of all the LORD has done for us— even the many good things he has done for the house of Israel, which he did for them based on his compassion and the abundance of his faithful love.

I will make mention of the mercies of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, According to all that the Lord has granted us, And the great goodness toward the house of Israel, Which He has granted them according to His compassion And according to the abundance of His mercies.

I will tell of the faithful acts of the LORD, of the LORD’s praiseworthy deeds. I will tell about all the LORD did for us, the many good things he did for the family of Israel, because of his compassion and great faithfulness.

I will tell of the loving kindnesses of Yahweh and the praises of Yahweh, according to all that Yahweh has given to us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has given to them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.

And they took strong cities and a rich land, And possessed houses full of all goods, Cisterns already dug, vineyards, olive groves, And fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled and grew fat, And delighted themselves in Your great goodness.

On the eighth day he sent the people away; and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the good that the Lord had done for His servant David, and for Israel His people.

But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

“ And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood, I said to you in your blood,‘ Live!’ Yes, I said to you in your blood,‘ Live!’I made you thrive like a plant in the field; and you grew, matured, and became very beautiful. Your breasts were formed, your hair grew, but you were naked and bare.“ When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” says the Lord God.“ Then I washed you in water; yes, I thoroughly washed off your blood, and I anointed you with oil.I clothed you in embroidered cloth and gave you sandals of badger skin; I clothed you with fine linen and covered you with silk.I adorned you with ornaments, put bracelets on your wrists, and a chain on your neck.And I put a jewel in your nose, earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head.Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. You ate pastry of fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly beautiful, and succeeded to royalty.Your fame went out among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through My splendor which I had bestowed on you,” says the Lord GOD.

For they have not served You in their kingdom, Or in the many good things that You gave them, Or in the large and rich land which You set before them; Nor did they turn from their wicked works.

But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

“ You are the Lord God, Who chose Abram, And brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans, And gave him the name Abraham;You found his heart faithful before You, And made a covenant with him To give the land of the Canaanites, The Hittites, the Amorites, The Perizzites, the Jebusites, And the Girgashites— To give it to his descendants. You have performed Your words, For You are righteous.“ You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, And heard their cry by the Red Sea.You showed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, Against all his servants, And against all the people of his land. For You knew that they acted proudly against them. So You made a name for Yourself, as it is this day.And You divided the sea before them, So that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; And their persecutors You threw into the deep, As a stone into the mighty waters.Moreover You led them by day with a cloudy pillar, And by night with a pillar of fire, To give them light on the road Which they should travel.“ You came down also on Mount Sinai, And spoke with them from heaven, And gave them just ordinances and true laws, Good statutes and commandments.You made known to them Your holy Sabbath, And commanded them precepts, statutes and laws, By the hand of Moses Your servant.You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger, And brought them water out of the rock for their thirst, And told them to go in to possess the land Which You had sworn to give them.

Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their enemies, Who oppressed them; And in the time of their trouble, When they cried to You, You heard from heaven; And according to Your abundant mercies You gave them deliverers who saved them From the hand of their enemies.

Yet in Your manifold mercies You did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of the cloud did not depart from them by day, To lead them on the road; Nor the pillar of fire by night, To show them light, And the way they should go.You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, And did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, And gave them water for their thirst.Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; They lacked nothing; Their clothes did not wear out And their feet did not swell.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.

And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

And forgot His works And His wonders that He had shown them.Marvelous things He did in the sight of their fathers, In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.He divided the sea and caused them to pass through; And He made the waters stand up like a heap.In the daytime also He led them with the cloud, And all the night with a light of fire.He split the rocks in the wilderness, And gave them drink in abundance like the depths.He also brought streams out of the rock, And caused waters to run down like rivers.But they sinned even more against Him By rebelling against the Most High in the wilderness.And they tested God in their heart By asking for the food of their fancy.Yes, they spoke against God: They said,“ Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?Behold, He struck the rock, So that the waters gushed out, And the streams overflowed. Can He give bread also? Can He provide meat for His people?”Therefore the Lord heard this and was furious; So a fire was kindled against Jacob, And anger also came up against Israel,Because they did not believe in God, And did not trust in His salvation.Yet He had commanded the clouds above, And opened the doors of heaven,Had rained down manna on them to eat, And given them of the bread of heaven.Men ate angels’ food; He sent them food to the full.He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens; And by His power He brought in the south wind.He also rained meat on them like the dust, Feathered fowl like the sand of the seas;And He let them fall in the midst of their camp, All around their dwellings.So they ate and were well filled, For He gave them their own desire.They were not deprived of their craving; But while their food was still in their mouths,The wrath of God came against them, And slew the stoutest of them, And struck down the choice men of Israel.In spite of this they still sinned, And did not believe in His wondrous works.Therefore their days He consumed in futility, And their years in fear.When He slew them, then they sought Him; And they returned and sought earnestly for God.Then they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their Redeemer.Nevertheless they flattered Him with their mouth, And they lied to Him with their tongue;For their heart was not steadfast with Him, Nor were they faithful in His covenant.But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, And did not destroy them. Yes, many a time He turned His anger away, And did not stir up all His wrath;For He remembered that they were but flesh, A breath that passes away and does not come again.How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, And grieved Him in the desert!Yes, again and again they tempted God, And limited the Holy One of Israel.They did not remember His power: The day when He redeemed them from the enemy,When He worked His signs in Egypt, And His wonders in the field of Zoan;Turned their rivers into blood, And their streams, that they could not drink.He sent swarms of flies among them, which devoured them, And frogs, which destroyed them.He also gave their crops to the caterpillar, And their labor to the locust.He destroyed their vines with hail, And their sycamore trees with frost.He also gave up their cattle to the hail, And their flocks to fiery lightning.He cast on them the fierceness of His anger, Wrath, indignation, and trouble, By sending angels of destruction among them.He made a path for His anger; He did not spare their soul from death, But gave their life over to the plague,And destroyed all the firstborn in Egypt, The first of their strength in the tents of Ham.But He made His own people go forth like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;And He led them on safely, so that they did not fear; But the sea overwhelmed their enemies.And He brought them to His holy border, This mountain which His right hand had acquired.He also drove out the nations before them, Allotted them an inheritance by survey, And made the tribes of Israel dwell in their tents.Yet they tested and provoked the Most High God, And did not keep His testimonies,But turned back and acted unfaithfully like their fathers; They were turned aside like a deceitful bow.For they provoked Him to anger with their high places, And moved Him to jealousy with their carved images.When God heard this, He was furious, And greatly abhorred Israel,So that He forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, The tent He had placed among men,And delivered His strength into captivity, And His glory into the enemy’s hand.He also gave His people over to the sword, And was furious with His inheritance.The fire consumed their young men, And their maidens were not given in marriage.Their priests fell by the sword, And their widows made no lamentation.Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, Like a mighty man who shouts because of wine.And He beat back His enemies; He put them to a perpetual reproach.Moreover He rejected the tent of Joseph, And did not choose the tribe of Ephraim,But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which He loved.And He built His sanctuary like the heights, Like the earth which He has established forever.He also chose David His servant, And took him from the sheepfolds;From following the ewes that had young He brought him, To shepherd Jacob His people, And Israel His inheritance.So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,

Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth,keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”

Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever:To Him who alone does great wonders, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who by wisdom made the heavens, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who laid out the earth above the waters, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who made great lights, For His mercy endures forever—The sun to rule by day, For His mercy endures forever;The moon and stars to rule by night, For His mercy endures forever.To Him who struck Egypt in their firstborn, For His mercy endures forever;And brought out Israel from among them, For His mercy endures forever;With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who divided the Red Sea in two, For His mercy endures forever;And made Israel pass through the midst of it, For His mercy endures forever;But overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who led His people through the wilderness, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who struck down great kings, For His mercy endures forever;And slew famous kings, For His mercy endures forever—Sihon king of the Amorites, For His mercy endures forever;And Og king of Bashan, For His mercy endures forever—And gave their land as a heritage, For His mercy endures forever;A heritage to Israel His servant, For His mercy endures forever.Who remembered us in our lowly state, For His mercy endures forever;And rescued us from our enemies, For His mercy endures forever;Who gives food to all flesh, For His mercy endures forever.Oh, give thanks to the God of heaven! For His mercy endures forever.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the good that the Lord had done for David, for Solomon, and for His people Israel.

For how great is its goodness And how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive, And new wine the young women.

“ But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, The descendants of Abraham My friend.You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its farthest regions, And said to you,‘ You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away:

He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His judgments, they have not known them. Praise the Lord!

Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones!He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth.He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations,The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,Saying,“ To you I will give the land of Canaan As the allotment of your inheritance,”When they were few in number, Indeed very few, and strangers in it.When they went from one nation to another, From one kingdom to another people,He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,Saying,“ Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.”Moreover He called for a famine in the land; He destroyed all the provision of bread.He sent a man before them— Joseph— who was sold as a slave.They hurt his feet with fetters, He was laid in irons.Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the Lord tested him.The king sent and released him, The ruler of the people let him go free.He made him Lord of his house, And ruler of all his possessions,To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom.Israel also came into Egypt, And Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.He increased His people greatly, And made them stronger than their enemies.He turned their heart to hate His people, To deal craftily with His servants.He sent Moses His servant, And Aaron whom He had chosen.They performed His signs among them, And wonders in the land of Ham.He sent darkness, and made it dark; And they did not rebel against His word.He turned their waters into blood, And killed their fish.Their land abounded with frogs, Even in the chambers of their kings.He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, And lice in all their territory.He gave them hail for rain, And flaming fire in their land.He struck their vines also, and their fig trees, And splintered the trees of their territory.He spoke, and locusts came, Young locusts without number,And ate up all the vegetation in their land, And devoured the fruit of their ground.He also destroyed all the firstborn in their land, The first of all their strength.He also brought them out with silver and gold, And there was none feeble among His tribes.Egypt was glad when they departed, For the fear of them had fallen upon them.He spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to give light in the night.The people asked, and He brought quail, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.He opened the rock, and water gushed out; It ran in the dry places like a river.For He remembered His holy promise, And Abraham His servant.He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with gladness.He gave them the lands of the Gentiles, And they inherited the labor of the nations,That they might observe His statutes And keep His laws. Praise the Lord!

to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!

Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; For You are God, gracious and merciful.

With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” Says the Lord, your Redeemer.

Though He causes grief, Yet He will show compassion According to the multitude of His mercies.

Look to Abraham your father, And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, And blessed him and increased him.”

‘ The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.’Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray, according to the greatness of Your mercy, just as You have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”

“ I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;
