我仰望，見無人幫助；我詫異，沒有人扶持。所以，我自己的膀臂為我施行拯救；我的烈怒將我扶持。

我觀之、無人輔翼、我異其無人扶持、遂以己臂自行拯救、藉己憤自為扶持、

我見輔翼無人、不勝錯愕、故展力發憤、手援選民。

我見無人輔助、無人扶持、甚為奇異、故自以臂施行拯救、施威自為扶持、

I looked, but there was no one to help, I was appalled that no one gave support; so my own arm achieved salvation for me, and my own wrath sustained me.

I looked around, but no one was there to help me. I was shocked that no one gave me any help. So I used my own power to save my people. I had the strength to do it because I was angry.

I was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So I myself stepped in to save them with my strong arm, and my wrath sustained me.

因為他們不是靠自己的刀劍得地土，也不是靠自己的膀臂得勝，乃是靠你的右手、你的膀臂，和你臉上的亮光，因為你喜悅他們。

我看的時候並沒有人；我問的時候，他們中間也沒有謀士可以回答一句。

我來的時候，為何無人等候呢？我呼喚的時候，為何無人答應呢？我的膀臂豈是縮短、不能救贖嗎？我豈無拯救之力嗎？看哪，我一斥責，海就乾了；我使江河變為曠野；其中的魚因無水腥臭，乾渴而死。

耶和華在萬國眼前露出聖臂；地極的人都看見我們神的救恩了。

主耶和華必像大能者臨到；他的膀臂必為他掌權。他的賞賜在他那裏；他的報應在他面前。

你們要向耶和華唱新歌！因為他行過奇妙的事；他的右手和聖臂施行救恩。

但在那蒙召的，無論是猶太人、希臘人，基督總為神的能力，神的智慧。

看哪，時候將到，且是已經到了，你們要分散，各歸自己的地方去，留下我獨自一人；其實我不是獨自一人，因為有父與我同在。

我獨自踹酒醡；眾民中無一人與我同在。我發怒將他們踹下，發烈怒將他們踐踏。他們的血濺在我衣服上，並且污染了我一切的衣裳。

我卻要憐憫猶大家，使他們靠耶和華－他們的神得救，不使他們靠弓、刀、爭戰、馬匹，與馬兵得救。」

耶和華的膀臂啊，興起！興起！以能力為衣穿上，像古時的年日、上古的世代興起一樣。從前砍碎拉哈伯、刺透大魚的，不是你嗎？

他見無人拯救，無人代求，甚為詫異，就用自己的膀臂施行拯救，以公義扶持自己。他以公義為鎧甲，以拯救為頭盔，以報仇為衣服，以熱心為外袍。他必按人的行為施報，惱怒他的敵人，報復他的仇敵，向眾海島施行報應。

兒女既同有血肉之體，他也照樣親自成了血肉之體，特要藉着死敗壞那掌死權的，就是魔鬼，並要釋放那些一生因怕死而為奴僕的人。
