我迷於道、剛愎我心、不畏耶和華爾何聽其然、望爾垂念、眷顧爾僕、救爾選民。

Why, Lord, do you make us wander from your ways and harden our hearts so we do not revere you? Return for the sake of your servants, the tribes that are your inheritance.

Lord, why do you let us wander away from you? Why do you let us become so stubborn that we don’t respect you? Come back and help us. We are the tribes that belong to you.

約匱止時、則曰、耶和華歟、尚其返於以色列億兆、

耶和華歟、歷時何久、尚其回轉、悔心於爾僕兮、

以色列家人、及旅以色列中之外人、凡離我而納其偶像於心、置陷罪之窒礙於前、而詣先知、諮諏於我者、我耶和華必自應之、我必怒顏向之、使其令人駭異、為鑑戒、作話柄、絕之於我民中、爾則知我乃耶和華、如先知被誘而宣言、乃我耶和華使然、我必伸手其上、滅之於我民以色列中、

主瞽其目、頑其心、恐其目見心悟、轉移而我醫之、

使斯民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免以目視、耳聽、心悟、轉移而得醫焉、

勿使我心向惡、偕同惡黨作慝、勿使我食其珍羞兮、

我一心求爾、勿容我違爾誡命兮、

萬軍之上帝歟、求爾回轉、自天垂鑒、眷顧此樹兮、

其轉我心、向爾法度、不向非義之財兮、

耶和華之使者曰、萬軍之耶和華歟、爾怒耶路撒冷、及猶大諸邑、既歷七十年、不加矜憫、將至幾時乎、

是上帝隨所欲矜恤之、亦隨所欲剛愎之、○如是、爾必語我云、上帝何尚責人乎、孰逆其旨乎、人乎、爾為誰、反詰上帝耶、受造之物、豈謂造之者云、爾何若是造我乎、

主曰、斯民以口親我、以脣尊我、而心則遠我、彼之畏我、乃從人所授之命耳、

蓋耶和華聽其剛愎厥心、與以色列人戰、而被翦滅、不蒙矜恤、循耶和華諭摩西之命、○

上帝歟、奚永棄我、奚向爾草場之羊、發爾烈怒乎、昔爾所得之會眾、所贖為業之族、及爾所居之郇山、祈垂念之兮、

故上帝施以乖謬、致信誑言、俾凡不信真理、而悅不義者服鞫、○

乃希實本王西宏、不容我過其境、蓋爾上帝耶和華使其心志頑梗、致付爾手、有如今日、
