以榮耀的膀臂在摩西右邊行動，在百姓面前將水分開，為要建立自己永遠的名，

若是約書亞已使他們享了安息，後來上帝就不會再提別的日子了。這樣看來，另有一安息日的安息為上帝的子民保留着。因為那些進入安息的，也是歇了自己的工作，正如上帝歇了他的工作一樣。所以，我們務必竭力進入那安息，免得有人學了不順從而跌倒了。

耶和華使以色列人從四圍所有的仇敵中得享安寧，已經有很多日子了。約書亞年紀老邁，

誰像你的百姓以色列呢？上帝親自去救贖世上的一國，作自己的子民，顯出他的大名；為了你的地，從列國和他們的神明中，在你親自從埃及贖出來的子民面前，為自己行了大而可畏的事。

為要使我們，這些首先把希望寄託在基督裏的人，頌讚他的榮耀。

然而，我指着我的永生與遍地充滿了耶和華的榮耀起誓：

「在至高之處榮耀歸與上帝！在地上平安歸與他所喜悅的人！」

使他榮耀的恩典得到稱讚；這恩典是他在愛子裏白白賜給我們的。

如今耶和華－你們的上帝已經照着他所應許的，使你們的弟兄得享安寧。你們現在可以返回自己的帳棚，回到耶和華的僕人摩西在約旦河東所賜給你們為業之地。

利未人耶書亞、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼、毗他希雅說：「起來，稱頌耶和華－你們的上帝，永世無盡：『你榮耀之名是應當稱頌的，超乎一切稱頌和讚美。

我們的上帝啊，現在我們稱謝你，讚美你榮耀之名！
