那使自己荣耀的膀臂在摩西的右边行走，那在他们面前把水分开，为要建立永远的名的，他在哪里呢？

如果约书亚已经使他们享受了安息，神后来就不会再提到别的日子了。这样看来，为了神的子民，必定另外有一个“安息日”的安息保留下来。因为那进入神安息的人，就歇了自己的工作，好像神歇了自己的工作一样。所以，我们要竭力进入那安息，免得有人随着那不顺从的样子就跌倒了。

耶和华使以色列人得享平安，不受四围仇敌的骚扰，已经有一段很长的日子；约书亚已经老了，年纪不小了。

世上有哪一个国家像你的子民以色列呢？神曾亲自救赎他们，使他们作自己的子民，又为他自己立名，为他们(按照《马索拉文本》，「他们」作「你们」；现参照其他抄本及古译本翻译)作了大事，为你的地作了可畏的事；在你的子民面前，就是你从埃及救赎出来归你自己的子民面前，赶出了列国的人和他们的神。

藉着我们这在基督里首先有盼望的人，使他的荣耀得着颂赞。

但是，我指着我的永生起誓，全地要被耶和华的荣耀充满。

“在至高之处，荣耀归与神！在地上，平安归与他所喜悦的人！”

好使他恩典的荣耀得着颂赞。这恩典是他在爱子里赐给我们的。

现在耶和华你们的神，照着他应许的，已经使你们兄弟得享平安；现在你们可以返回自己家里，回到耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东赐给你们作产业的地方去。

利未人耶书亚、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼和毗他希雅说：“你们要起立，称颂耶和华你们的神，直到永永远远。”“耶和华啊，你荣耀的名是应当称颂的；愿你的名被尊崇，超过一切称颂和赞美。

我们的神啊，现在我们要称颂你，赞美你荣耀的名。
