用荣耀的臂膀扶持摩西，在他们面前把海水分开，使自己威名永存的那位在哪里？

如果当初约书亚已经让他们得到了安息，上帝就不必另定一个日子了。这样说来，必定另有一个安息日为上帝的子民存留，使他们可以真正安歇。因为人进入上帝的安息，就是歇了自己的工作，好像上帝歇了祂的工作一样。因此，我们要竭力进入那安息，免得重蹈他们的覆辙，因不顺服而倒毙。

此后很长时间，耶和华使以色列人四境太平，没有战事。约书亚年事已高，

世上哪个民族比得上你的以色列子民呢？你从埃及救出他们，让他们做你的子民，又彰显你的大名，行神迹奇事，把列国及其神明从你的以色列子民面前赶走。

好让我们这些首先在基督里得到盼望的人都来颂赞祂的荣耀。

但我凭我的永恒起誓，正如大地充满我的荣耀一样确实，

“在至高之处，愿荣耀归于上帝！在地上，愿平安临到祂所喜悦的人！”

我们赞美祂奇妙无比的恩典，这恩典是上帝借着祂的爱子赐给我们的。

现在你们的上帝耶和华已经照祂的应许使你们的弟兄安居，你们可以回到约旦河东，到摩西赐给你们作产业的地方。

利未人耶书亚、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼和毗他希雅说：“起来称颂你们的上帝耶和华，直到永永远远。耶和华啊，你荣耀的圣名当受称颂！愿你的名被尊崇，超过一切称颂和赞美！

我们的上帝啊，我们称颂你，赞美你荣耀的名。
