耶和華說：「你們要修築，修築，要預備道路，除掉我百姓路中的絆腳石。」

有聲音呼喊着：「要在曠野為耶和華預備道路，在沙漠為我們的神修直大道。

要為自己的腳把道路修直了，使瘸了的腿不再脫臼，反而得到痊癒。

主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我必向列國舉手，向萬民豎立大旗；他們必將你的兒子抱在懷中帶來，將你的女兒背在肩上扛來。

到那日，耶西的根立作萬民的大旗；列國的人必尋求他，他安歇之所大有榮耀。

所以你們要往岔路口上去，凡遇見的，都邀來赴宴。』

世上所有的居民，住在地上的人哪，山上大旗豎起時，你們要看，號角吹響時，你們要聽。

摩西築了一座壇，起名叫「耶和華尼西」。

他要向列國豎立大旗，召集以色列被趕散的人，又從地極四方聚集分散的猶大人。

離開吧！離開吧！你們要從巴比倫出來。你們扛抬耶和華器皿的人哪，不要沾染不潔淨之物，離去時務要保持潔淨。

必有一條大道，為百姓中從亞述逃脫生還的餘民而開，如當日為以色列從埃及上來一樣。

你們要從巴比倫出來，從迦勒底人中逃脫，以歡呼的聲音宣告，將這事傳揚到地極，說：耶和華救贖了他的僕人雅各！

你的城門必時常開放，晝夜不關，使人將列國的財物帶來歸你，他們的君王也被牽引而來。
