耶和华说：“筑起，筑起！预备道路！移除我子民路上的绊脚石！”

有声音呼喊着：“要在旷野预备耶和华的道路，在荒漠为我们的神修直大道！

也要为你们的脚把道路修直，好使瘸腿的不至扭脚，反得痊愈。

主耶和华如此说：“看哪！我要向列国举手，向万民高举我的旗帜，他们就把你的儿子抱在怀中，把你的女儿背在肩上带来。

到那日，耶西的根必立起，作万民的旗帜；列国必寻求他，他安息之所必大有荣耀。

所以你们要到大街小巷去，把所见到的人都请来赴宴。’

一切世上的居民，在地上居住的人哪，山上竖起旗帜时，你们要看！号角吹响时，你们要听！

他必向列国竖起旗帜，招聚被驱散的以色列人，又从地的四角聚集被分散的犹大人。

你们要离开，离开！要从巴比伦出来，不要碰不洁净的东西！你们抬耶和华器皿的人哪，要从巴比伦城中出来，要洁净自己！

必有一条从亚述而来的大道，为他子民中残留的余剩者所预备，就像以色列人从埃及地上来之日，为他们所预备的那样。

你们要从巴比伦出来，从迦勒底人那里逃离。你们要用欢呼的声音宣告，让人听见，传扬出去，直到地极，说：“耶和华救赎了他的仆人雅各！”

你的城门必一直敞开，昼夜不关闭，好让人把列国的财富带来归你，也把列国的君王领来。
