必有人說：“你們要填高，要填高，要修平道路；把障礙物從我子民的路上除掉。”

有聲音呼喊說：“你們要在曠野清理耶和華的路，在沙漠修直我們神的大道。

也要把你們所走的道路修直，使瘸子不至於扭腳，反而得到復原。

主耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我必向列國舉手，我要向萬民豎立我的旗幟；他們要把你的兒子都抱在懷中帶來，把你的女兒都放在肩上背來。

到那日，耶西的根必豎立起來，作萬族的旗幟；列國的人必尋求他，他安息之所必大有榮耀。

所以你們要到大路口，凡遇見的，都請來參加婚筵。’

世上所有的居民，住在全地上的人哪！山上豎起旗幟的時候，你們要注意；號角吹響的時候，你們要聆聽。

摩西築了一座祭壇，給它起名叫“耶和華尼西”。

他必向列國豎起旗幟，召聚以色列被擄去的人，又從地的四方聚集分散了的猶大人。

你們要離開，要離開，要從那裡出來，不要觸摸不潔淨的東西。扛抬耶和華器皿的啊！你們要從巴比倫城中出來，要自潔。

為著神的餘民，就是那些在亞述剩下歸回的，必有一條大路給他們歸回，正如以色列人從埃及地上來的日子一樣。

“你們要從巴比倫出來，從迦勒底人中逃出來，你們要用歡呼的聲音宣告，把這事說給人聽，你們要把這事宣揚出去，直到地極，說：‘耶和華救贖了他的僕人雅各了。’

你的城門必常常開，日夜都不關閉，使人把列國的財富帶來歸你，他們的君王也都被引導而來。
