倚靠耶和華、以耶和華為可靠的，那人有福了！他必像樹栽於水旁，在河邊扎根，炎熱來到，並不懼怕，葉子仍必青翠，在乾旱之年毫無掛慮，而且結果不止。

你已將我的哀哭變為跳舞，將我的麻衣脫去，給我披上喜樂，

我因耶和華大大歡喜；我的心靠神快樂。因他以拯救為衣給我穿上，以公義為袍給我披上，好像新郎戴上華冠，又像新婦佩戴妝飾。

我實實在在地告訴你們，你們將要痛哭、哀號，世人倒要喜樂；你們將要憂愁，然而你們的憂愁要變為喜樂。

你的衣服當時常潔白，你頭上也不要缺少膏油。

你喜愛公義，恨惡罪惡；所以神－就是你的神－用喜樂油膏你，勝過膏你的同伴。

惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

你們的光也當這樣照在人前，叫他們看見你們的好行為，便將榮耀歸給你們在天上的父。」

這樣，凡好樹都結好果子，惟獨壞樹結壞果子。好樹不能結壞果子；壞樹不能結好果子。凡不結好果子的樹就砍下來，丟在火裏。

在我敵人面前，你為我擺設筵席；你用油膏了我的頭，使我的福杯滿溢。

此後，我觀看，見有許多的人，沒有人能數過來，是從各國、各族、各民、各方來的，站在寶座和羔羊面前，身穿白衣，手拿棕樹枝，大聲喊着說：「願救恩歸與坐在寶座上我們的神，也歸與羔羊！」眾天使都站在寶座和眾長老並四活物的周圍，在寶座前，面伏於地，敬拜神，說：阿們！頌讚、榮耀、智慧、感謝、尊貴、權柄、大力都歸與我們的神，直到永永遠遠。阿們！長老中有一位問我說：「這些穿白衣的是誰？是從哪裏來的？」我對他說：「我主，你知道。」他向我說：「這些人是從大患難中出來的，曾用羔羊的血把衣裳洗白淨了。

你的日頭不再下落；你的月亮也不退縮；因為耶和華必作你永遠的光。你悲哀的日子也完畢了。你的居民都成為義人，永遠得地為業；是我種的栽子，我手的工作，使我得榮耀。

義人要發旺如棕樹，生長如黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他們栽於耶和華的殿中，發旺在我們神的院裏。他們年老的時候仍要結果子，要滿了汁漿而常發青，好顯明耶和華是正直的。他是我的磐石，在他毫無不義。

並靠着耶穌基督結滿了仁義的果子，叫榮耀稱讚歸與神。

「我從你旁邊經過，看見你的時候正動愛情，便用衣襟搭在你身上，遮蓋你的赤體；又向你起誓，與你結盟，你就歸於我。這是主耶和華說的。那時我用水洗你，洗淨你身上的血，又用油抹你。我也使你身穿繡花衣服，腳穿海狗皮鞋，並用細麻布給你束腰，用絲綢為衣披在你身上，又用妝飾打扮你，將鐲子戴在你手上，將金鍊戴在你項上。我也將環子戴在你鼻子上，將耳環戴在你耳朵上，將華冠戴在你頭上。這樣，你就有金銀的妝飾，穿的是細麻衣和絲綢，並繡花衣；吃的是細麵、蜂蜜，並油。你也極其美貌，發達到王后的尊榮。

你們若為基督的名受辱罵，便是有福的；因為神榮耀的靈常住在你們身上。

因為你們是重價買來的。所以，要在你們的身子上榮耀神。

我說：「要將潔淨的冠冕戴在他頭上。」他們就把潔淨的冠冕戴在他頭上，給他穿上華美的衣服，耶和華的使者在旁邊站立。

又得酒能悅人心，得油能潤人面，得糧能養人心。

末底改穿着藍色白色的朝服，頭戴大金冠冕，又穿紫色細麻布的外袍，從王面前出來；書珊城的人民都歡呼快樂。

你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。

以這月的兩日為猶大人脫離仇敵得平安、轉憂為喜、轉悲為樂的吉日。在這兩日設筵歡樂，彼此餽送禮物，賙濟窮人。

這正是主降臨、要在他聖徒的身上得榮耀、又在一切信的人身上顯為希奇的那日子。我們對你們作的見證，你們也信了。

到那日，你必說：耶和華啊，我要稱謝你！因為你雖然向我發怒，你的怒氣卻已轉消；你又安慰了我。

你們要互相款待，不發怨言。各人要照所得的恩賜彼此服事，作神百般恩賜的好管家。若有講道的，要按着神的聖言講；若有服事人的，要按着神所賜的力量服事，叫神在凡事上因耶穌基督得榮耀。原來榮耀、權能都是他的，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

父親卻吩咐僕人說：『把那上好的袍子快拿出來給他穿；把戒指戴在他指頭上；把鞋穿在他腳上；

末底改知道所做的這一切事，就撕裂衣服，穿麻衣，蒙灰塵，在城中行走，痛哭哀號。到了朝門前停住腳步，因為穿麻衣的不可進朝門。王的諭旨所到的各省各處，猶大人大大悲哀，禁食哭泣哀號，穿麻衣躺在灰中的甚多。
