民曰、我因主欣喜、我心因我天主歡樂、蓋天主以拯救為衣衣我、以福祉福祉或作仁義下同為袍被我、使我若新娶者冠以華冠、若新婦飾以寶物、

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

The people of Jerusalem will say,“ We take great delight in the Lord. We are joyful because we belong to our God. He has dressed us with salvation as if it were our clothes. He has put robes of godliness on us. We are like a groom who is dressed up for his wedding. We are like a bride who decorates herself with her jewels.

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

I am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom dressed for his wedding or a bride with her jewels.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together,[ and] come to thee.[ As] I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them[ on thee], as a bride[ doeth].

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.And all the angels stood round about the throne, and[ about] the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might,[ be] unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy[ shall be] upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy;[ and] sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see[ him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time[ was] the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers’ skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment[ was of] fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it[ was] perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon:[ the like things] shall not come, neither shall it be[ so].

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put[ it] on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on[ his] feet:

Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

And not only[ so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to[ fulfil] the lusts[ thereof].

Even the righteousness of God[ which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Rejoice in the Lord alway:[ and] again I say, Rejoice.

And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this[ is] our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this[ is] the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

The LORD[ is] my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

And[ they of] Ephraim shall be like a mighty[ man], and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see[ it], and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.

Can a maid forget her ornaments,[ or] a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for[ this] day[ is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.And thou shalt speak unto all[ that are] wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.And these[ are] the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.And they shall make the ephod[ of] gold,[ of] blue, and[ of] purple,[ of] scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and[ so] it shall be joined together.And the curious girdle of the ephod, which[ is] upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof;[ even of] gold,[ of] blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:Six of their names on one stone, and[ the other] six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth.With the work of an engraver in stone,[ like] the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold.And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod[ for] stones of memorial unto the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD upon his two shoulders for a memorial.And thou shalt make ouches[ of] gold;And two chains[ of] pure gold at the ends;[ of] wreathen work shalt thou make them, and fasten the wreathen chains to the ouches.And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it;[ of] gold,[ of] blue, and[ of] purple, and[ of] scarlet, and[ of] fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.Foursquare it shall be[ being] doubled; a span[ shall be] the length thereof, and a span[ shall be] the breadth thereof.And thou shalt set in it settings of stones,[ even] four rows of stones:[ the first] row[ shall be] a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle:[ this shall be] the first row.And the second row[ shall be] an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names,[ like] the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.And thou shalt make upon the breastplate chains at the ends[ of] wreathen work[ of] pure gold.And thou shalt make upon the breastplate two rings of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.And thou shalt put the two wreathen[ chains] of gold in the two rings[ which are] on the ends of the breastplate.And[ the other] two ends of the two wreathen[ chains] thou shalt fasten in the two ouches, and put[ them] on the shoulderpieces of the ephod before it.And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the breastplate in the border thereof, which[ is] in the side of the ephod inward.And two[ other] rings of gold thou shalt make, and shalt put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart thereof, over against the[ other] coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that[ it] may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy[ place], for a memorial before the LORD continually.And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all[ of] blue.And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.And[ beneath] upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates[ of] blue, and[ of] purple, and[ of] scarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy[ place] before the LORD, and when he cometh out, that he die not.And thou shalt make a plate[ of] pure gold, and grave upon it,[ like] the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.And thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre[ of] fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle[ of] needlework.And for Aaron’s sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office.And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy[ place]; that they bear not iniquity, and die:[ it shall be] a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

All thy garments[ smell] of myrrh, and aloes,[ and] cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.Kings’ daughters[ were] among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

The king’s daughter[ is] all glorious within: her clothing[ is] of wrought gold.She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed[ is] not grievous, but for you[ it is] safe.Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave[ them] to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things.

And round about the throne[ were] four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
