For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.

因為你看，黑暗遮蓋着大地呢，幽暗籠罩着萬國之民呢；但永恆主卻要昇現照耀着你，他的榮耀必顯現來照着你。

幽暗將蒙大地、晦冥將蔽兆民、惟耶和華必起而臨爾、其榮顯於爾中、

天下億兆、處幽暗、居晦冥、惟爾得我耶和華、榮光普照。

See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.

Darkness covers the earth. Thick darkness spreads over the nations. But I will rise and shine on you. My glory will appear over you.

Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond servants on account of Jesus.For God, who said,“ Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened.Claiming to be wise, they became fools,and they exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible mankind, of birds, four footed animals, and crawling creatures.Therefore God gave them up to vile impurity in the lusts of their hearts, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.For they exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature,and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations with women and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing shameful acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper,people having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are gossips,slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,without understanding, untrustworthy, unfeeling, and unmerciful;and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall.

And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting. When they came out and blessed the people, the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

So Korah assembled all the congregation against them at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And the glory of the Lord appeared to all the congregation.

In past generations He permitted all the nations to go their own ways;

so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.

Leave them alone; they are blind guides of blind people. And if a person who is blind guides another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.”

No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.

and you have not come to know Him, but I know Him. And if I say that I do not know Him, I will be a liar like you; but I do know Him, and I follow His word.

You blind men, which is more important, the offering or the altar that sanctifies the offering?

So I say this, and affirm in the Lord, that you are to no longer walk just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their minds,being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;and they, having become callous, have given themselves up to indecent behavior for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.But you did not learn Christ in this way,

Listen, Shepherd of Israel, Who leads Joseph like a flock; You who are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!

Give glory to the Lord your God Before He brings darkness And before your feet stumble On the mountains in the dark, And while you are hoping for light He makes it into gloom, And turns it into thick darkness.

God comes from Teman, And the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His splendor covers the heavens, And the earth is full of His praise.His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, And the hiding of His might is there.

You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
