All king Solomon’s drinking vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Lebanon were of pure gold. None were of silver, because it was considered of little value in the days of Solomon.For the king had a fleet of Tarshish at sea with Hiram’s fleet. Once every three years the fleet of Tarshish came, bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes, and peacocks.So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.All the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.Year after year, every man brought his tribute, vessels of silver, vessels of gold, clothing, armor, spices, horses, and mules.Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen. But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

God having provided some better thing concerning us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called‘ The city of righteousness, a faithful town.’

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.

Moreover the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, in the day that Yahweh binds up the fracture of his people, and heals the wound they were struck with.

In that day Yahweh will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and David’s house will be like God, like Yahweh’s angel before them.
