所羅門王一切飲器都是金的；利巴嫩森林宮裏一切器皿都是精金的，沒有銀的；當所羅門的日子、銀子算不了甚麼。因為王有他施航洋船隊和希蘭的船隊一同在海上；他施航洋船隊三年來了一次，帶來了金、銀、象牙、猿猴跟孔雀。所羅門王的財寶和智慧比地上的列王都大。全地上的人都想求見所羅門一面，要聽他的智慧、就是上帝所賜在他心裏的。他們各運來了貢物、就是銀器、金器、衣裳、沒藥、香料、馬、騾：年年都有一定的數量。所羅門聚集了戰車駿馬：他有戰車一千四百輛，駿馬一萬二千匹；他把這些車馬安置在屯車城和耶路撒冷跟王同在一處。王使銀子在耶路撒冷像石頭一樣，使香柏木像低原上無花果屬桑樹那麼多。

然而照主所應許之恩、我們所期待的乃是新的天新的地、其中有正義住着的。

因為上帝已經為了我們豫先供備更美好的事，要使他們、沒有我們、就不能得完全。

我必重立你的審判官、像起初一樣，重立你的謀士如起先一般；以後你就必稱為公義之城，忠信可靠的都市。』

看吧，有一個王憑公義而作王，有官長按公平而作官，個個就都像避風所和隱匿處、讓人可避暴雨，都像水溝在乾透了之地，像大碞石的影子在人疲乏之地。

當永恆主綁紮他人民的傷口，醫治其受打之重傷的日子，月光必像日光，日光必加七倍，像七個日頭的光一樣。

當那日、永恆主必圍護耶路撒冷的居民；他們中間疲弱的、當那日必像大衛；大衛家必像神一般的人，像永恆主的使者在他們前面領導。
