And He replied: Go! Say to these people: Keep listening, but do not understand; keep looking, but do not perceive.

他說：你去對這人民說：『你們聽了又聽吧！但總不明白！你們看了又看吧！但總不曉得！

曰、往告斯民云、爾其聽之而不悟、視之而不明、

He said,“ Go and tell this people:“‘ Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’

So he said,“ Go and speak to these people. Tell them,“‘ You will hear but never understand. You will see but never know what you are seeing.’

And he said,“ Go, and say to this people:“‘ Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’

And he said,“ Yes, go, and say to this people,‘ Listen carefully, but do not understand. Watch closely, but learn nothing.’

And he replied: Go! Say to these people: Keep listening, but do not understand; keep looking, but do not perceive.

And He said,“ Go, and tell this people:‘ Keep on listening, but do not understand; And keep on looking, but do not gain knowledge.’

And He said,“ Go, and tell this people:‘ Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

He said,“ Go and tell these people:‘ Listen continually, but don’t understand! Look continually, but don’t perceive!’

He said,“ Go, and tell this people,‘ You hear indeed, but don’t understand. You see indeed, but don’t perceive.’

So He said,“ The secrets of the kingdom of God have been given for you to know, but to the rest it is in parables, so that Looking they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

Isaiah’s prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says: You will listen and listen, yet never understand; and you will look and look, yet never perceive.For this people’s heart has grown callous; their ears are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn back— and I would cure them.

so that they may look and look, yet not perceive; they may listen and listen, yet not understand; otherwise, they might turn back— and be forgiven.”

He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they would not see with their eyes or understand with their hearts, and be converted, and I would heal them.

The Lord said: Because these people approach Me with their mouths to honor Me with lip-service— yet their hearts are far from Me, and their worship consists of man-made rules learned by rote—

when He said, Go to these people and say: You will listen and listen, yet never understand; and you will look and look, yet never perceive.For the hearts of these people have grown callous, their ears are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and be converted, and I would heal them.

Bring out a people who are blind, yet have eyes, and are deaf, yet have ears.

as it is written: God gave them a spirit of insensitivity, eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear, to this day.

Such people do not comprehend and cannot understand, for He has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their minds so they cannot understand.No one reflects, no one has the perception or insight to say,“ I burned half of it in the fire, I also baked bread on its coals, I roasted meat and ate. I will make something detestable with the rest of it, and I will bow down to a block of wood.”He feeds on ashes. His deceived mind has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself, or say,“ Isn’t there a lie in my right hand?”

Go now, write it on a tablet in their presence and inscribe it on a scroll; it will be for the future, forever and ever.They are a rebellious people, deceptive children, children who do not want to obey the Lord’s instruction.They say to the seers,“ Do not see,” and to the prophets,“ Do not prophesy the truth to us. Tell us flattering things. Prophesy illusions.Get out of the way! Leave the pathway. Rid us of the Holy One of Israel.”

Then the Lord said to me:“ Even if Moses and Samuel should stand before Me, My compassions would not reach out to these people. Send them from My presence, and let them go.If they ask you,‘ Where will we go?’ you must tell them: This is what the Lord says: Those destined for death, to death; those destined for the sword, to the sword. Those destined for famine, to famine; those destined for captivity, to captivity.

The Lord spoke to Moses:“ Go down at once! For your people you brought up from the land of Egypt have acted corruptly.They have quickly turned from the way I commanded them; they have made for themselves an image of a calf. They have bowed down to it, sacrificed to it, and said,‘ Israel, this is your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.’”The Lord also said to Moses:“ I have seen this people, and they are indeed a stiff-necked people.Now leave Me alone, so that My anger can burn against them and I can destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation.”

Then the Lord said: Name him Not My People, for you are not My people, and I will not be your God.
