他說：你去對這人民說：『你們聽了又聽吧！但總不明白！你們看了又看吧！但總不曉得！

他說：「你去告訴這百姓說：『你們聽了又聽，卻不領悟；看了又看，卻不明白。』

曰、往告斯民云、爾其聽之而不悟、視之而不明、

曰、往告斯民、云、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、

曰、往哉、告斯民云、爾曹雖聽、聽而不聰、爾曹雖視、視而不明、

He said,“ Go and tell this people:“‘ Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’

So he said,“ Go and speak to these people. Tell them,“‘ You will hear but never understand. You will see but never know what you are seeing.’

And he said,“ Yes, go, and say to this people,‘ Listen carefully, but do not understand. Watch closely, but learn nothing.’

And he replied: Go! Say to these people: Keep listening, but do not understand; keep looking, but do not perceive.

And He said,“ Go, and tell this people:‘ Keep on listening, but do not understand; And keep on looking, but do not gain knowledge.’

And He said,“ Go, and tell this people:‘ Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

And He replied: Go! Say to these people: Keep listening, but do not understand; keep looking, but do not perceive.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

He said,“ Go and tell these people:‘ Listen continually, but don’t understand! Look continually, but don’t perceive!’

He said,“ Go, and tell this people,‘ You hear indeed, but don’t understand. You see indeed, but don’t perceive.’

he said,“ To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that‘ seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’

Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:“‘“ You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’

so that“‘ they may indeed see but not perceive, and may indeed hear but not understand, lest they should turn and be forgiven.’”

“ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.”

And the Lord said:“ Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men,

“‘ Go to this people, and say,“ You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.’

Bring out the people who are blind, yet have eyes, who are deaf, yet have ears!

as it is written,“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, down to this very day.”

They know not, nor do they discern, for he has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their hearts, so that they cannot understand.No one considers, nor is there knowledge or discernment to say,“ Half of it I burned in the fire; I also baked bread on its coals; I roasted meat and have eaten. And shall I make the rest of it an abomination? Shall I fall down before a block of wood?”He feeds on ashes; a deluded heart has led him astray, and he cannot deliver himself or say,“ Is there not a lie in my right hand?”

And now, go, write it before them on a tablet and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come as a witness forever.For they are a rebellious people, lying children, children unwilling to hear the instruction of the Lord;who say to the seers,“ Do not see,” and to the prophets,“ Do not prophesy to us what is right; speak to us smooth things, prophesy illusions,leave the way, turn aside from the path, let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel.”

Then the Lord said to me,“ Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my heart would not turn toward this people. Send them out of my sight, and let them go!And when they ask you,‘ Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord:“‘ Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence, and those who are for the sword, to the sword; those who are for famine, to famine, and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’

And the Lord said to Moses,“ Go down, for your people, whom you brought up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves.They have turned aside quickly out of the way that I commanded them. They have made for themselves a golden calf and have worshiped it and sacrificed to it and said,‘ These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!’”And the Lord said to Moses,“ I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people.Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may burn hot against them and I may consume them, in order that I may make a great nation of you.”

And the Lord said,“ Call his name Not My People, for you are not my people, and I am not your God.”
