Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

A seraph flew over to me. He was holding a hot coal. He had used tongs to take it from the altar.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, and in his hand was a glowing coal that he had taken from the altar with tongs.

Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, then threw it on the earth. Thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake followed.

According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.For Christ hasn’t entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own,or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

He spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said,“ Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fill both your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city.” He went in as I watched.

He shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before Yahweh, and two handfuls of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil.

We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.

Of the angels he says,“ He makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire.”

Aren’t they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?

I indeed baptize you in water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them.

Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew.

yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening offering.He instructed me and talked with me, and said, Daniel,“ I have now come to give you wisdom and understanding.At the beginning of your petitions the commandment went out, and I have come to tell you; for you are greatly beloved. Therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision.
