Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

A seraph flew over to me. He was holding a hot coal. He had used tongs to take it from the altar.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.

另有一位天使拿着金香爐來，站在祭壇旁邊；有許多香賜給他，要和眾聖徒的祈禱一同獻在寶座前的金壇上。那香的煙和眾聖徒的祈禱從天使的手中一同升到神面前。天使拿着香爐，盛滿了壇上的火，倒在地上；就有雷轟、響聲、閃電、地震。

按着律法，幾乎每樣東西都是用血潔淨的；沒有流血，就沒有赦罪。這樣，照着天上樣式做的物件必須用這些禮儀去潔淨，但那天上的一切，自然當用更美的祭物去潔淨。因為基督並沒有進了人手所造的聖所－這不過是真聖所的影像－而是進到天上，如今為我們出現在神面前。他也無須多次將自己獻上，像大祭司每年帶着牛羊的血進入至聖所。如果這樣，他從創世以來就必須多次受苦了。但如今，他在今世的末期顯現，僅一次把自己獻為祭，好除掉罪。

耶和華對那身穿細麻衣的人說：「你進到基路伯下面旋轉的輪子中，從基路伯之間取出火炭裝滿兩手掌，撒在城上。」我親眼看見他進去。

他要從耶和華面前的壇上取盛滿火炭的香爐，再拿一捧搗細的香料，把這些都帶入幔子內。

我們有一祭壇，上面的祭物是那些在會幕中供職的人無權可吃的。

關於使者，他說：「神以風為使者，以火焰為僕役。」

眾天使不都是事奉的靈，奉差遣為那將要承受救恩的人服務的嗎？

我是用水給你們施洗，叫你們悔改；但那在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是給他提鞋子也不配，他要用聖靈與火給你們施洗。

又有舌頭如火焰向他們顯現，分開落在他們每個人身上。

上有撒拉弗侍立，各有六個翅膀：兩個翅膀遮臉，兩個翅膀遮腳，兩個翅膀飛翔，

我正在禱告中說話，先前在異象中所見的那位加百列，約在獻晚祭的時候迅速飛到我這裏來。他指教我說：「但以理啊，現在我來要使你有智慧，有聰明。你剛開始懇求的時候，就有命令發出。現在我來告訴你，因你是蒙愛的；所以你要思想這事，明白這異象。
