Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

A seraph flew over to me. He was holding a hot coal. He had used tongs to take it from the altar.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.

另外有一位天使来了，拿着金香炉，站在祭坛前。有许多香赐给了他，好与所有圣徒的祈祷一同献在宝座前的金坛上。那香的烟和众圣徒的祈祷，就从天使手中一同升到神面前。天使拿着香炉，用坛上的火把它装满了，投在地上；于是就有雷轰、响声、闪电和地震。

按着律法，几乎所有都是用血洁净的，如果没有流血，就没有赦免。照着天上样式作的既然必须这样去洁净，天上物体的本身，就应该用更美的祭品去洁净了。因为基督不是进了人手所做的圣所（那不过是真圣所的表象），而是进到天上，现在替我们显露在神的面前。他不必多次把自己献上，好像大祭司每年带着不是自己的血进入至圣所一样。如果这样，他从创世以来，就必须受许多次的苦了。可是现在他在这世代的终结，只显现一次，把自己作为祭品献上，好除掉罪。

主对那身穿细麻布衣服的人说：“你进到基路伯以下的轮子之间那里去；从基路伯之间，用两手捧满火炭，然后把它们撒在城上。”他就在我眼前进去了。

从耶和华面前的祭坛上，拿一个盛满火炭的香炉，又拿一捧捣细的芬芳香料，带进幔子里，

我们有一座祭坛，坛上的祭物，是那些在会幕中供职的人没有权利吃的。

论到天使，说：“神以他的天使为风，以他的仆役为火焰。”

天使不都是服役的灵，奉差遣为那些要承受救恩的人效劳吗？

我用水给你们施洗，表示你们悔改；但在我以后要来的那一位，能力比我更大，我就是替他提鞋也没有资格。他要用圣灵与火给你们施洗。

又有火焰般的舌头显现出来，分别落在他们各人身上。

在他上面有撒拉弗侍立，各有六个翅膀；用两个翅膀遮脸，两个翅膀遮脚，两个翅膀飞翔。

我还在祷告说话的时候，我先前在异象中所见的那位样貌像人的加百列，约在献晚祭的时候，快速地飞（“快速地飞”原文意思难确定，或译：“在精疲力竭时”）到我面前来。他向我解释，说：“但以理啊！现在我来，要使你有智慧，有聪明。你开始恳求的时候，就有命令发出。因为你是大蒙眷爱的，所以我来告诉你；你要留意这信息，明白这异象。
