In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

Who is like Yahweh, our God, who has his seat on high,

They saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was like a paved work of sapphire stone, like the skies for clearness.He didn’t lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Israel. They saw God, and ate and drank.

Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.

There was a voice above the expanse that was over their heads. When they stood, they let down their wings.Above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone. Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, wrote.So Uzziah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the field of burial which belonged to the kings, for they said,“ He is a leper.” Jotham his son reigned in his place.

They told the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,

Then he came, and he took it out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in David’s city: and Jotham his son reigned in his place.
