In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment[ was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne[ was like] the fiery flame,[ and] his wheels[ as] burning fire.

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven[ is] my throne, and the earth[ is] my footstool: where[ is] the house that ye build unto me? and where[ is] the place of my rest?

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

Who[ is] like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,

And they saw the God of Israel: and[ there was] under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in[ his] clearness.And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

And there was a voice from the firmament that[ was] over their heads, when they stood,[ and] had let down their wings.And above the firmament that[ was] over their heads[ was] the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne[ was] the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so[ was] the appearance of the brightness round about. This[ was] the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw[ it], I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set[ him] at his own right hand in the heavenly[ places],Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom[ be] honour and power everlasting. Amen.

And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and[ one] sat on the throne.

Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name[ is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy[ place], with him also[ that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy[ place], that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

Be still, and know that I[ am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth[ month], in the fifth[ day] of the month, as I[ was] among the captives by the river of Chebar,[ that] the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz,[ and] Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write.So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which[ belonged] to the kings; for they said, He[ is] a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
