In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord. He was seated on his throne. His long robe filled the temple. He was highly honored.

以賽亞說了這些話，是因為看見了耶穌的榮耀，就講論他的事。

聖所就充滿了從神的榮耀和他的大能而來的煙；沒有人能進入聖所，直到那七位天使的七樣災害完結了。

因此他們在神的寶座前，日夜在他的聖所中事奉他。那位坐在寶座上的也將庇護他們：他們將不再飢餓，也不再乾渴；太陽或任何炎熱也不會傷到他們；因為在寶座中的羔羊將牧養他們，領他們到生命水的泉源；神要從他們的眼中抹去一切淚水。」

從來沒有人看見神，只有在父懷裡的那位獨生子——神，他將神表明了出來。

「我繼續觀看，寶座已經安放好，亙古永存者入座了；他的衣服潔白如雪，他的頭髮純淨如羊毛；他的寶座是烈火的火焰，寶座的輪子是燃燒的烈火。

耶和華如此說：「天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳。你們要為我建造的殿宇在哪裡呢？我安歇的地方在哪裡呢？」

接著，我看見坐在寶座上的那一位右手中拿著一個書卷，內外都寫著字，用七個封印封住。

誰像耶和華我們的神呢？他在至高之處坐著為王；

神哪，願你受尊崇高於諸天，願你的榮耀遍及全地！

神曾將這能力運作在基督的身上，使基督從死人中復活，並且使他在天上坐在自己的右邊，遠遠高過一切統治的、掌權的、有勢力的、有主權的，和一切被稱的名號，不僅在這世代，而且也在那將要來臨的世代。

「當人子在他的榮耀中，與所有的天使一起來臨的時候，他那時就要坐在他榮耀的寶座上。

就是那獨一不朽的、住在人所不能靠近的光裡，沒有人見過、也沒有人能看見的那一位。願尊貴和永恆的權能都歸於他！阿們。

我立刻就在靈裡了，看哪，有一個寶座安放在天上，有一位坐在寶座上。

二十四位長老就俯伏在坐寶座的那一位面前，敬拜活到永永遠遠的那一位，並且把自己的冠冕放在寶座前，說：

那至高至尊、永遠長存、名為至聖者的如此說：「我住在至高至聖的地方，也與靈裡痛悔的人和謙卑的人同在，使謙卑的人靈裡復甦，使痛悔的人心裡復甦。

「平息吧，當明白我是神！我必在列國中受尊崇，必在全地受尊崇。」

那得勝的，我將要准許他與我一起坐在我的寶座上；就像我已經得勝，與我父一起坐在他的寶座上那樣。

猶大王烏西雅、約坦、亞哈斯、希西加年間，亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞所看到的異象，是關於猶大和耶路撒冷的：

到那日，你們必說：「當稱謝耶和華，呼求他的名，在萬民中傳揚他的作為，宣告他的名被高舉。

他們對山嶺和岩石說：「倒在我們身上吧！把我們藏起來，好躲避坐在寶座上那一位的臉和羔羊的震怒；

羔羊上前去，從坐在寶座上那一位的右手中拿了書卷。
