In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

以赛亚说了这些话，是因为看见了耶稣的荣耀，就讲论他的事。

圣所就充满了从神的荣耀和他的大能而来的烟；没有人能进入圣所，直到那七位天使的七样灾害完结了。

因此他们在神的宝座前，日夜在他的圣所中事奉他。那位坐在宝座上的也将庇护他们：他们将不再饥饿，也不再干渴；太阳或任何炎热也不会伤到他们；因为在宝座中的羔羊将牧养他们，领他们到生命水的泉源；神要从他们的眼中抹去一切泪水。”

从来没有人看见神，只有在父怀里的那位独生子——神，他将神表明了出来。

“我继续观看，宝座已经安放好，亘古永存者入座了；他的衣服洁白如雪，他的头发纯净如羊毛；他的宝座是烈火的火焰，宝座的轮子是燃烧的烈火。

耶和华如此说：“天是我的宝座，地是我的脚凳。你们要为我建造的殿宇在哪里呢？我安歇的地方在哪里呢？”

接着，我看见坐在宝座上的那一位右手中拿着一个书卷，内外都写着字，用七个封印封住。

谁像耶和华我们的神呢？他在至高之处坐着为王；

神哪，愿你受尊崇高于诸天，愿你的荣耀遍及全地！

神曾将这能力运作在基督的身上，使基督从死人中复活，并且使他在天上坐在自己的右边，远远高过一切统治的、掌权的、有势力的、有主权的，和一切被称的名号，不仅在这世代，而且也在那将要来临的世代。

“当人子在他的荣耀中，与所有的天使一起来临的时候，他那时就要坐在他荣耀的宝座上。

就是那独一不朽的、住在人所不能靠近的光里，没有人见过、也没有人能看见的那一位。愿尊贵和永恒的权能都归于他！阿们。

我立刻就在灵里了，看哪，有一个宝座安放在天上，有一位坐在宝座上。

二十四位长老就俯伏在坐宝座的那一位面前，敬拜活到永永远远的那一位，并且把自己的冠冕放在宝座前，说：

那至高至尊、永远长存、名为至圣者的如此说：“我住在至高至圣的地方，也与灵里痛悔的人和谦卑的人同在，使谦卑的人灵里复苏，使痛悔的人心里复苏。

“平息吧，当明白我是神！我必在列国中受尊崇，必在全地受尊崇。”

那得胜的，我将要准许他与我一起坐在我的宝座上；就像我已经得胜，与我父一起坐在他的宝座上那样。

犹大王乌西雅、约坦、亚哈斯、希西加年间，亚摩斯的儿子以赛亚所看到的异象，是关于犹大和耶路撒冷的：

到那日，你们必说：“当称谢耶和华，呼求他的名，在万民中传扬他的作为，宣告他的名被高举。

他们对山岭和岩石说：“倒在我们身上吧！把我们藏起来，好躲避坐在宝座上那一位的脸和羔羊的震怒；

羔羊上前去，从坐在宝座上那一位的右手中拿了书卷。
