The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace.

They don’t know how to live at peace with others. What they do isn’t fair. They lead twisted lives. No one who lives like that will enjoy peace and rest.

惟彼惡人、若洶湧之海、不能恬靜、厥水擁出泥穢、我上帝曰、作惡之輩、不享平康、

照夫居於幽暗及死蔭者、導我履平康之路、○

行正直者、必蒙救援、行邪曲者、猝然傾覆、

爾其往來於耶路撒冷之衢、於其寬廣之區察視之、索一行公義求信實者、若有之、我必宥斯邑、

耶和華曰、作惡之輩、不享平康、

以色列人歟、其聽耶和華言、耶和華與斯土居民爭辯、因其境內無誠實、無仁慈、無識上帝之知識、惟妄誓、失信、殺戮、偷盜、姦淫、殘暴是行、疊流人血、

其途邪曲、其徑偏僻、

世人歟、爾緘口豈公義、鞫人豈正直乎、非也、爾心造惡、且於地上、衡施強暴兮、

公平卻退、仁義遙立、誠實顚於衢、正直不得入、誠慤無存、去惡者被虜、耶和華鑒之、惡其無義、

禍哉、爾偽善之士子與法利賽人乎、以爾於薄荷、茴香、馬芹、十輸其一、而於律之尤重者、若義與慈與信、則遺之、此乃爾所當行、而彼亦不可遺也、

不識平康之路、

彼偏行曲徑者、耶和華必曳之、使與惡黨同出、願平康歸於以色列兮、

夫萬軍耶和華之葡萄園、即以色列家、其所悅之樹、乃猶大人也、冀其公、反見暴虐、冀其義、反有哀號、○

其道安樂、其徑平康、

安逸於錫安、優游於撒瑪利亞山、著名列邦之首、以色列家所歸者、其人禍哉、爾其往甲尼而觀、自彼至哈馬大邑、下至非利士之迦特、其邑豈愈於此國乎、其境豈廣於爾境乎、爾以為患難之日遙遠、致暴虐之位速設、偃臥於象牙之牀、舒體於榻、食羣中之羔、與牢中之犢、和琴瑟之聲、歌無謂之曲、為己而製樂器、同乎大衛、以巨盂飲酒、以寶膏自沐、而為約瑟之難、則不憂焉、
