The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace.

They don’t know how to live at peace with others. What they do isn’t fair. They lead twisted lives. No one who lives like that will enjoy peace and rest.

行动正直的，必蒙拯救；行事弯曲的，立时跌倒。

“你们当在耶路撒冷的街上跑来跑去，在宽阔处寻找，看看有一人行公义求诚实没有？若有，我就赦免这城。

耶和华说：“恶人必不得平安！”

“以色列人哪，你们当听耶和华的话。耶和华与这地的居民争辩，因这地上无诚实，无良善，无人认识神。但起假誓，不践前言，杀害，偷盗，奸淫，行强暴，杀人流血，接连不断。

在他们的道中弯曲，在他们的路上偏僻。

世人哪，你们默然不语，真合公义吗？施行审判，岂按正直吗？不然！你们是心中作恶；你们在地上秤出你们手所行的强暴。

并且公平转而退后，公义站在远处；诚实在街上仆倒，正直也不得进入。诚实少见；离恶的人反成掠物。那时，耶和华看见没有公平，甚不喜悦。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们将薄荷、茴香、芹菜献上十分之一，那律法上更重的事，就是公义、怜悯、信实，反倒不行了。这更重的是你们当行的；那也是不可不行的。

平安的路，他们未曾知道；

至于那偏行弯曲道路的人，耶和华必使他和作恶的人一同出去受刑。愿平安归于以色列！

万军之耶和华的葡萄园就是以色列家；他所喜爱的树就是犹大人。他指望的是公平，谁知倒有暴虐；指望的是公义，谁知倒有冤声。

她的道是安乐；她的路全是平安。

国为列国之首，人最著名，且为以色列家所归向，在锡安和撒玛利亚山安逸无虑的，有祸了！你们要过到甲尼察看，从那里往大城哈马去，又下到非利士人的迦特，看那些国比你们的国还强吗？境界比你们的境界还宽吗？你们以为降祸的日子还远，坐在位上尽行强暴。你们躺卧在象牙床上，舒身在榻上，吃群中的羊羔，棚里的牛犊；弹琴鼓瑟唱消闲的歌曲，为自己制造乐器，如同大卫所造的；以大碗喝酒，用上等的油抹身，却不为约瑟的苦难担忧。
