The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace.

They don’t know how to live at peace with others. What they do isn’t fair. They lead twisted lives. No one who lives like that will enjoy peace and rest.

They don’t know where to find peace or what it means to be just and good. They have mapped out crooked roads, and no one who follows them knows a moment’s peace.

行为完全的，必蒙拯救；行事狡诈的，必立刻跌倒。

“你们去走遍耶路撒冷的街道，到处观察留意，又在城的广场上寻觅；如果能找到一个行正义、求诚实的人，我就赦免这城。

耶和华说：‘恶人没有平安。’”

以色列人哪！你们要听耶和华的话。耶和华要与这地的居民争辩，因为在这地上没有诚实，没有慈爱，也没有认识神的知识；只有起假誓、撒谎、残杀、偷盗、奸淫、行强暴，以至流人血事件相继而来。

他们的道路弯曲，他们的行径偏离正道。

掌权者啊！你们真的讲公义吗（本句或译：“你们默然不语，真的讲公义吗”）？你们真的按照正直审判世人吗？不是的，你们心中策划奸恶；你们的手在地上施行强暴（本句原文作“你们在地上称出你们手中的强暴”）。

公平被迫后退，公义站在远处；诚实在街上跌倒，正直不能进入。诚实缺乏，远离恶事的人反成为掠物。耶和华看见了，就看这为恶事（“就看这为恶事”或译：“很不喜悦”），因为一点公平也没有。

“虚伪的经学家和法利赛人哪，你们有祸了！你们把薄荷、茴香、芹菜，献上十分之一，却忽略律法上更重要的，就如正义、怜悯和信实；这些更重要的是你们应当作的，但其他的也不可忽略。

和睦之道，他们不晓得，

至于那些偏行弯曲道路的人，耶和华必把他们和作恶的人一同除去。愿平安归于以色列。

因为万军之耶和华的葡萄园就是以色列家，他喜悦的树就是犹大人；他期望的是公平，但看到的只是流血的事；他期望的是公义，听到的只是哀叫声。

智慧的道路尽是欢悦，智慧的路径全是平安。

那些在锡安平静安逸的，安稳在撒玛利亚山上的，有祸了！你们是这列国中为首之大国的领袖，是以色列家所归向的。你们要过去甲尼看看，从那里往哈马大城去，然后下到非利士的迦特；看你们是否比这些国家胜一筹？他们的领土是否比你们的领土还大？你们认为灾祸的日子离开很远，你们的行为却招致残暴的审判。你们卧在象牙床上，躺在榻上；你们吃羊群中的羊羔，和牛棚里的牛犊。你们闲逸地弹琴奏乐，又为自己制造乐器，像大卫一样。你们用大碗喝酒，用最贵重的膏油抹身；但你们并没有为约瑟的败落而痛心。
