“ The Redeemer will come to Jerusalem to buy back those in Israel who have turned from their sins,” says the Lord.

「必有一位救贖主臨到錫安，臨到雅各家中轉離過犯的人。」這是耶和華的宣告。

耶和華曰、有救贖者、將臨於錫安、及雅各家改過之人、

耶和華曰、必有救主、降臨郇邑、以救雅各家之去其舊惡者。

必有贖者、贖者或作救主為郇為雅各族悔罪之人而來、此乃主所言、

“ The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,” declares the Lord.

“ I set my people free. I will come to Mount Zion. I will come to those in Jacob’s family who turn away from their sins,” announces the Lord.

“ And a Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from transgression,” declares the Lord.

“ The Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those in Jacob who turn from transgression.” This is the LORD’s declaration.

“ A Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those in Jacob who turn from wrongdoing,” declares the Lord.

“ The Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” Says the Lord.

And a Redeemer will come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith Jehovah.

“ The Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those in Jacob who turn from transgression.” This is the Lord’s declaration.

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

“ A protector comes to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their rebellious deeds,” says the LORD.

“ A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob,” says Yahweh.

And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say,“ The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness.And this is my covenant with them, that I will take away their sins.”

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.

“ Therefore, I will judge each of you, O people of Israel, according to your actions, says the Sovereign Lord. Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you!Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O people of Israel?

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.

“ In the future, when you experience all these blessings and curses I have listed for you, and when you are living among the nations to which the Lord your God has exiled you, take to heart all these instructions.If at that time you and your children return to the Lord your God, and if you obey with all your heart and all your soul all the commands I have given you today,then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes. He will have mercy on you and gather you back from all the nations where he has scattered you.Even though you are banished to the ends of the earth, the Lord your God will gather you from there and bring you back again.The Lord your God will return you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will possess that land again. Then he will make you even more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors!“ The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!The Lord your God will inflict all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate and persecute you.Then you will again obey the Lord and keep all his commands that I am giving you today.“ The Lord your God will then make you successful in everything you do. He will give you many children and numerous livestock, and he will cause your fields to produce abundant harvests, for the Lord will again delight in being good to you as he was to your ancestors.The Lord your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and decrees written in this Book of Instruction, and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.

“ But Jerusalem will become a refuge for those who escape; it will be a holy place. And the people of Israel will come back to reclaim their inheritance.The people of Israel will be a raging fire, and Edom a field of dry stubble. The descendants of Joseph will be a flame roaring across the field, devouring everything. There will be no survivors in Edom. I, the Lord, have spoken!“ Then my people living in the Negev will occupy the mountains of Edom. Those living in the foothills of Judah will possess the Philistine plains and take over the fields of Ephraim and Samaria. And the people of Benjamin will occupy the land of Gilead.The exiles of Israel will return to their land and occupy the Phoenician coast as far north as Zarephath. The captives from Jerusalem exiled in the north will return home and resettle the towns of the Negev.Those who have been rescued will go up to Mount Zion in Jerusalem to rule over the mountains of Edom. And the Lord himself will be king!”

But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, for some on Mount Zion in Jerusalem will escape, just as the Lord has said. These will be among the survivors whom the Lord has called.

Every curse written against us in the Law of Moses has come true. Yet we have refused to seek mercy from the Lord our God by turning from our sins and recognizing his truth.

When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.”

I preached first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that all must repent of their sins and turn to God— and prove they have changed by the good things they do.

O Zion, messenger of good news, shout from the mountaintops! Shout it louder, O Jerusalem. Shout, and do not be afraid. Tell the towns of Judah,“ Your God is coming!”

“ So let everyone in Israel know for certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, to be both Lord and Messiah!”Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles,“ Brothers, what should we do?”Peter replied,“ Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away— all who have been called by the Lord our God.”
