But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

你們的罪孽使這些事轉離你們；你們的罪惡使你們不能得福。

到了遭災的時候，這些人必哀求耶和華，他卻不應允他們。那時他必照他們所行的惡事向他們掩面。

你們舉手禱告，我必遮眼不看；就是你們多多地祈禱，我也不聽。你們的手都滿了殺人的血。

耶和華遠離惡人，卻聽義人的禱告。

列國人也必知道以色列家被擄掠是因他們的罪孽。他們得罪我，我就掩面不顧，將他們交在敵人手中，他們便都倒在刀下。我是照他們的污穢和罪過待他們，並且我掩面不顧他們。」

我也不再掩面不顧他們，因我已將我的靈澆灌以色列家。這是主耶和華說的。」

那時，我的怒氣必向他們發作；我也必離棄他們，掩面不顧他們，以致他們被吞滅，並有許多的禍患災難臨到他們。那日他們必說：『這些禍患臨到我們，豈不是因我們的神不在我們中間嗎？』那時，因他們偏向別神所行的一切惡，我必定掩面不顧他們。

耶和華看見他的兒女惹動他，就厭惡他們，說：我要向他們掩面，看他們的結局如何。他們本是極乖僻的族類，心中無誠實的兒女。

因他貪婪的罪孽，我就發怒擊打他；我向他掩面發怒，他卻仍然隨心背道。

你們禁食，卻互相爭競，以凶惡的拳頭打人。你們今日禁食，不得使你們的聲音聽聞於上。

以色列人犯了罪，違背了我所吩咐他們的約，取了當滅的物；又偷竊，又行詭詐，又把那當滅的放在他們的家具裏。

耶和華如此說：我休你們的母親，休書在哪裏呢？我將你們賣給我哪一個債主呢？你們被賣，是因你們的罪孽；你們的母親被休，是因你們的過犯。
