He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.

He will put the armor of holiness on his chest. He’ll put the helmet of salvation on his head. He’ll pay people back for the wrong things they do. He’ll wrap himself in anger as if it were a coat.

你們要把救恩的頭盔和聖靈的寶劍、就是上帝的話語、接過來。

所以你們要站穩，你們的腰用真誠束好了，義的胸甲穿上了，

但我們呢、我們既是屬於白晝的，就該冷靜戒備着，穿上了信與愛做胸甲，又戴上了得救之盼望當做頭盔。

黑夜已深，白晝已近；所以我們要脫去黑暗之行為，穿上亮光之軍裝。要端端正正而行，像在白晝之中，而不是在荒宴醉酒中，不是在好房事邪蕩中，也不是在紛爭妒忌中。總要穿上主耶穌基督為軍裝；別為肉體籌謀、去放縱私慾了。

永恆主的膀臂啊，奮發，奮發哦！穿上力量為服裝哦！奮發像古時的日子，像往古之年代哦！從前擊傷了拉哈龍，刺透了大海獸的、不是你麼？

因為我們知道誰說：『伸冤在我，我必報應』；誰說：『主必定他子民的罪』。

他的門徒就想起了經上記着說：『為着你的殿的這種熱心就要把我燒滅了！』

公義必做他腰間的圍帶，忠信必做他脅下的束巾。

因為這為你的殿之熱心把我燒得急死了；而辱罵你的辱罵都落到我身上來了。

我以正義為衣服，正義也做衣服覆被着我；我的公平就如外袍與華冠。

他的政權宏大，他的泰平無窮，在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義堅立而支持它，從今時直到永遠。萬軍之永恆主的熱心必成就這事。

要等待伸冤報應的日子，等待他們的腳顛躓的時候麼？因為他們遭遇災難的日子近了，那準備要臨到他們身上的就要迅速地來臨。『因為永恆主見他人民的手力用盡、沒有剩下一人，連受束縛的帶得釋放的都沒剩下，就要為他人民行裁判，憐恤他的僕人，說：「他們的神、他們避難於其中的碞石、在哪裏呢？那些向來喫他們祭牲的脂肪、喝他們奠祭之酒的神在哪裏呢？讓他們興起來幫助你們吧！願他們護衛你們吧！『「如今你們要看，我，惟有我乃是上帝，我以外、並沒有別的神；是我使人死，是我使人活；是我擊傷，也是我醫治；並沒有能從我手中搶救出去的。『我向天舉手：我，我指着永活的我來起誓：我若磨快了我閃亮的刀，我的手若掌握着審判權，我就必將伸冤報復我的敵人，我必報應恨我的人。我必讓我的箭醉飲鮮血、就是被刺死者和俘虜的血；我的刀必喫肉，喫仇敵的長毛頭目。」『列國啊，跟主的人民一同歡呼吧！因為他要伸他僕人流血的冤，他要將伸冤報復他的敵人，他要給他的土地、他的人民、除罪染。』

「真實」之道、上帝之大能力；藉着右手左手中義的武器、

『我獨自踹着酒窟；列族之民中沒有一人跟我在一起；我氣忿忿將他們踹下，怒烘烘將他們踐踏；他們鮮紅的血漿濺在我衣服上，把我整套的服裝都染污了。

我看見天開着，見有一匹白馬。那騎馬的稱為忠信而真實：他審判、他爭戰、都本着公義。

從天上察看哦！從你聖而榮美的巍峨殿宇看哦！你的熱心、你大能的作為、在哪裏呢？你肺腑你心腸之熱情在哪裏呢？你不要自己忍住呀！

那跟我說話的天使對我說：「你要宣告說，萬軍之永恆主這麼說；我妒愛着耶路撒冷、妒愛着錫安、大發熱情妒愛。

將責罰加給不認識上帝的、和不聽從我們主耶穌福音的人。

永恆主伸冤的上帝啊，伸冤的上帝啊，射發光輝哦！
