He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.

He will put the armor of holiness on his chest. He’ll put the helmet of salvation on his head. He’ll pay people back for the wrong things they do. He’ll wrap himself in anger as if it were a coat.

要戴上救恩的頭盔，緊握聖靈的寶劍——上帝的話。

務要站穩，用真理當作帶子束腰，以公義當作護心鏡遮胸，

我們既屬於白晝，就應當保持清醒，要把信心和愛心當作護心鏡遮胸，把得救的盼望當作頭盔戴上。

黑夜已深，天將破曉，我們要除掉黑暗的行為，穿上光明的盔甲。我們要為人端正，光明磊落，不可荒宴醉酒、好色邪蕩、嫉妒紛爭。你們要活出主耶穌基督的榮美，不要只顧放縱罪惡本性的私慾。

耶和華啊，伸出臂膀，施展能力吧，像在從前的世代一樣施展你的能力吧！難道不是你砍碎了拉哈伯，刺死了海怪嗎？

我們知道上帝說過：「伸冤在我，我必報應。」祂又說：「主要審判祂的百姓。」

祂的門徒想起聖經上說：「我對你的殿充滿炙熱的愛。」

公義必作他的腰帶，信實必作他肋下的帶子。

我對你的殿充滿炙熱的愛，辱罵你之人的辱罵都落在我身上。

我以公義為衣穿在身上，公正是我的外袍和帽子。

祂的國必長治久安。祂必坐在大衛的寶座上以公平和公義治國，使國家永固。萬軍之耶和華必熱切地成就此事。

伸冤在我，我必報應，到時候他們必站不住腳，他們遭禍的日子近了，他們的末日來了。』「耶和華見自己的子民力量衰竭，奴隸和自由人所剩無幾，必為他們主持公道，憐憫祂的僕人。祂必說，『你們的神明在哪裡？庇護你們的磐石在哪裡？它們吃你們祭牲的脂肪，喝你們的奠酒。讓它們起來幫助你們，庇護你們吧！「『你們要知道，唯有我是上帝；除我之外，別無他神。我掌管生死，我打傷、我醫治；無人能逃出我的掌心。我向天伸手，憑我的永恆起誓，我要磨快閃亮的劍，主持公道，報應仇敵，懲罰恨我的人。我要使我的箭飽飲鮮血，被殺被擄之人的血；我的劍要吞噬人肉，敵人將領的肉。』「列邦啊，你們當與祂的子民一同歡樂！因為祂要為自己的僕人報血仇，報應祂的仇敵，潔淨祂的土地和子民。」

真理之道、上帝的大能、左右手中的公義兵器，

「我獨自在榨酒池踩踏，萬民中無人跟我在一起。我在憤怒中踩踏他們，在烈怒中踐踏他們；他們的血濺到我的衣服上，染紅了我的衣服。

我看見天開了，有一匹白馬出來，馬上的騎士名叫「誠信真實」，祂憑公義審判、作戰。

求你從天上垂顧，從你聖潔、榮耀的居所垂看。你的熱忱和大能在哪裡呢？難道你不再眷愛、憐憫我們嗎？

那位天使對我說：「你要宣告，萬軍之耶和華說，『我對耶路撒冷，對錫安充滿了火熱的愛。

懲罰那些不認識上帝、不聽從有關我們主耶穌之福音的人。

耶和華啊，你是伸冤的上帝；伸冤的上帝啊，求你彰顯你的榮光。
