秉公義者、遠遁遙立、言真實者、仆於逵衢、不敢入邑。

公平遠退、義理遙立、真實顛仆於街衢、正直欲入而不能、

So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter.

So people stop others from doing what is fair. They keep them from doing what is right. No one tells the truth in court anymore. No one is honest there.

Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter.

Our courts oppose the righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found. Truth stumbles in the streets, and honesty has been outlawed.

無人按公義控訴，也無人憑誠實辯白；卻倚靠虛妄，口說謊言，懷毒害，生罪孽。

因此律法無效，公理從未彰顯。惡人圍困義人，所以公理遭受扭曲。

所以，因你們踐踏貧寒人，向他們勒索糧稅；你們雖建造石鑿的房屋，卻不得住在其內；雖栽植美好的葡萄園，卻不得喝其中所出的酒。

就是先知說假預言，祭司把權柄抓在自己手上，我的百姓也喜愛這樣，到了結局你們要怎麼辦呢？」

禍哉！那些設立不義之律例的，和記錄奸詐之判詞的，為要扭曲貧寒人的案件，奪去我民中困苦人的理，以寡婦當作擄物，以孤兒當作掠物。

籠子怎樣裝滿雀鳥，他們的屋裏也照樣充滿詭詐；他們因此得以強大富足。他們肥胖光潤，作惡過甚，不為人伸冤，不為孤兒伸冤，使他們勝訴，也不為貧窮人辯護。

你們審判不秉公義，抬舉惡人的臉面，要到幾時呢？（細拉）當為貧寒的人和孤兒伸冤，為困苦和窮乏的人施行公義。當保護貧寒和貧窮的人，救他們脫離惡人的手。他們愚昧，他們無知，在黑暗中走來走去；地的根基都搖動了。

他們因受賄賂，就稱惡人為義，將義人的義奪去。

我又見日光之下，應有公平之處有奸惡，應有公義之處也有奸惡。

當聽這話，雅各家的領袖，以色列家的官長啊！你們厭棄公平，在一切事上屈枉正直；以血建立錫安，以罪孽建造耶路撒冷。城裏的領袖為賄賂行審判，祭司為酬勞施訓誨，先知為銀錢行占卜；他們卻倚賴耶和華，說：「耶和華不是在我們中間嗎？災禍必不臨到我們。」

忠信的城竟然變為妓女！從前充滿了公平，公義居在其中，現今卻有兇手居住。

禍哉，這欺壓的城！悖逆，污穢，不聽從命令，不領受訓誨，不倚靠耶和華，不親近它的神。其中的領袖是咆哮的獅子，審判官是晚上的野狼，不留一點到早晨。

他們雙手善於作惡，君王和審判官都索取賄賂；位高的人吐出心中的慾望，彼此勾結。他們當中最好的，不過像蒺藜；最正直的，不過如荊棘籬笆。你守候的日子，懲罰已經來到，他們必擾亂不安。不可倚賴鄰舍，不可信靠密友；甚至對躺在你懷中的妻子也要守住你的口。

你們這使公平變為茵蔯，將公義丟棄於地的人哪！
