So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter.

So people stop others from doing what is fair. They keep them from doing what is right. No one tells the truth in court anymore. No one is honest there.

Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter.

Our courts oppose the righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found. Truth stumbles in the streets, and honesty has been outlawed.

无人按公义诉讼，无人凭诚实申辩。你们依靠诡辩，口出谎言，心怀鬼胎，生出罪恶。

因此律法失效，正义不彰，恶人包围义人，正义被扭曲。

你们践踏穷人，对他们横征暴敛。因此，你们用凿过的石头建房，却不得居住在里面；你们种植佳美的葡萄园，却喝不到葡萄酒。

就是先知说假预言，祭司滥用权力，我的子民却以此为乐。但当最后的结局来临时，他们还能做什么呢？

制定不义律例、起草不公法令的人啊，你们有祸了！你们冤枉穷人，夺去我子民中困苦者的权利，掳掠寡妇，抢劫孤儿。

他们的家里充满了诡诈，就像笼子装满了鸟。他们变得有财有势，吃得肥胖红润，坏事做尽，不为孤儿申冤，不为穷人主持公道。”

说：“你们不秉公行义，偏袒恶人要到何时呢？（细拉）你们要为穷人和孤儿主持公道，为贫寒和受压迫的人伸张正义。要救助穷苦的人，使他们脱离恶人的欺压。你们愚昧无知，行在黑暗中，大地的根基摇动。

他们贪赃枉法，坑害无辜。

我又看到日光之下，即使在公道和正义之地也有邪恶。

雅各家的首领，以色列家的统治者啊，你们要听！你们厌恶正义，颠倒是非；以血腥建立锡安，以罪恶建造耶路撒冷。城里的首领为贪赃而枉法，祭司为银子而施教，先知为钱财而占卜。他们却宣称倚靠耶和华，说：“耶和华不是在我们当中吗？灾祸不会临到我们。”

耶路撒冷啊，你这忠贞的妻子竟变成了妓女！你从前充满公平，是公义之家，现在却住着凶手。

这叛逆、污秽、充满压迫的城有祸了！她不听命令，不受管教；不倚靠耶和华，不亲近她的上帝。她的首领是咆哮的狮子，她的审判官是夜间的豺狼，不留一点猎物到天明。

他们善于作恶。领袖和审判官索要贿赂，显贵袒露心中的恶欲，朋比为奸。他们当中最好的不过是蒺藜，最正直的也不过是荆棘篱笆。你们的守望者所说的日子，就是你们受惩罚的日子已经来到。你们必惊慌失措。不要相信邻居，不要信赖朋友，即使对你怀中的妻子也要守口如瓶。

你们这些使正义变为苦艾、将公义丢弃在地的人啊，
