他呼求我，我就回应他；他在患难中，我就与他同在；我要搭救他，使他得尊荣。

“不断祈求吧，就会给你们；不断寻找吧，就会找到；不断敲门吧，就会为你们开门。因为凡祈求的，就得到；寻找的，就找到；敲门的，就为他开门。

人人向邻舍说谎，他们说话油嘴滑舌，心怀二意。

如果我的心以罪为念，主就不会垂听。但神确实垂听了，他留心听了我祷告的声音。

你要以耶和华为乐，他就把你心里所求的赐给你。

你们伸开双手祷告的时候，我必掩目不看你们；就算你们多多祷告，我也不垂听。你们的双手沾满了血！

锡安的民——住在耶路撒冷的人哪，你必不再哭泣！他必定恩待你，他听了你哀求的声音，就必回应你。

你们在嘲笑谁呢？向谁张大嘴巴、伸长舌头呢？难道你们不是叛逆之子、虚谎之种吗？

我在苦楚中呼求耶和华；耶和华回应了我，把我安置在宽阔之地。

我所喜悦的禁食，难道不是以下这样吗？松开邪恶的锁链，解开轭上的绳索，使被欺压的人得自由，折断一切的轭，

我们悖逆、否认耶和华，背道不跟随我们的神；说欺压、反叛的话；心怀虚假的话语，并由心发出。

雅各来到他父亲那里，说：“我父啊！”以撒说：“我在这里！我儿啊，你是谁呢？”

因为你们的双手被血染污，你们的指头被罪孽玷污；你们的嘴唇说出虚谎之言，你们的舌头吐露不义之语。没有人以公义申诉，没有人以信实申辩；人人都依靠虚无，说话虚妄，怀上祸患，生下邪恶；

耶和华呼唤撒母耳，撒母耳就回应：“我在这里！”然后他跑到以利那里，说：“我在这里，你呼唤我了吗？”以利说：“我没有呼唤你，回去睡吧。”他就去睡了。耶和华再次呼唤撒母耳，撒母耳就起来，到以利那里，说：“我在这里，你呼唤了我吗？”以利说：“我没有呼唤你，我儿，回去睡吧。”那时撒母耳还不认识耶和华，耶和华的话语也没有向他启示。耶和华第三次又呼唤撒母耳，撒母耳就起来，到以利那里，说：“我在这里，你呼唤我了吗？”以利这才明白，是耶和华在呼唤这孩子。
