他們天天尋求我，喜愛認識我的道路，好像行公義的國民，不離棄自己神的法規；他們向我求問公義的判斷，喜愛在神的近旁；

彼日尋我、樂知我道、求我示以義律、悅親上帝有若行義之民、未違上帝之律、

彼日崇事余、求我道、詰我法、欣然詣我前、幾與行義之民、不違上帝無異。

彼眾日日尋求我、願明我道、似乎行義之民、不違其天主法度者、以義理求問於我、悅與天主相近、

For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.

Day after day they worship me. They seem ready and willing to know how I want them to live. They act as if they were a nation that does what is right. They act as if they have not turned away from my commands. They claim to want me to give them fair decisions. They seem ready and willing to come near and worship me.

Yet they seek me daily and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the judgment of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God.

Yet they act so pious! They come to the Temple every day and seem delighted to learn all about me. They act like a righteous nation that would never abandon the laws of its God. They ask me to take action on their behalf, pretending they want to be near me.

They seek me day after day and delight to know my ways, like a nation that does what is right and does not abandon the justice of their God. They ask me for righteous judgments; they delight in the nearness of God.”

Yet they seek Me day by day and delight to know My ways, As a nation that has done righteousness And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God. They ask Me for just decisions, They delight in the nearness of God.

Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.

Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways: as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near unto God.

They seek Me day after day and delight to know My ways, like a nation that does what is right and does not abandon the justice of their God. They ask Me for righteous judgments; they delight in the nearness of God.”

主说：“因为这百姓亲近我，用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我；他们敬畏我，不过是领受人的吩咐。

他们说是认识神，行事却和他相背；本是可憎恶的，是悖逆的，在各样善事上是可废弃的。

假冒为善的人哪，以赛亚指着你们说的预言是不错的。他说：‘这百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我；他们将人的吩咐当作道理教导人，所以拜我也是枉然。’”

雅各家，称为以色列名下，从犹大水源出来的，当听我言！你们指着耶和华的名起誓，提说以色列的神，却不凭诚实，不凭公义。他们自称为圣城的人，所倚靠的是名为万军之耶和华以色列的神。

所以，你们要脱去一切的污秽和盈余的邪恶，存温柔的心领受那所栽种的道，就是能救你们灵魂的道。只是你们要行道，不要单单听道，自己欺哄自己。

约翰是点着的明灯，你们情愿暂时喜欢他的光。

恶人献祭，为耶和华所憎恶；正直人祈祷，为他所喜悦。

你们行诡诈自害；因为你们请我到耶和华你们的神那里，说：‘求你为我们祷告耶和华我们神，照耶和华我们的神一切所说的告诉我们，我们就必遵行。’

对先知耶利米说：“求你准我们在你面前祈求，为我们这剩下的人祷告耶和华你的神。我们本来众多，现在剩下的极少，这是你亲眼所见的。

他们来了，就对他说：“夫子，我们知道你是诚实的，什么人你都不徇情面；因为你不看人的外貌，乃是诚诚实实传神的道。纳税给凯撒可以不可以？

因为希律知道约翰是义人，是圣人，所以敬畏他，保护他，听他讲论，就多照着行，并且乐意听他。

“人子啊，你本国的子民在墙垣旁边、在房屋门口谈论你。弟兄对弟兄彼此说：‘来吧！听听有什么话从耶和华而出。’他们来到你这里如同民来聚会，坐在你面前仿佛是我的民。他们听你的话却不去行；因为他们的口多显爱情，心却追随财利。他们看你如善于奏乐、声音幽雅之人所唱的雅歌，他们听你的话却不去行。看哪，所说的快要应验；应验了，他们就知道在他们中间有了先知。”

“你们对我说的话，耶和华都听见了。耶和华对我说：‘这百姓的话，我听见了；他们所说的都是。惟愿他们存这样的心敬畏我，常遵守我的一切诫命，使他们和他们的子孙永远得福。

耶和华说：“你们所献的许多祭物与我何益呢？公绵羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已经够了；公牛的血，羊羔的血，公山羊的血，我都不喜悦。“你们来朝见我，谁向你们讨这些，使你们践踏我的院宇呢？你们不要再献虚浮的供物。香品是我所憎恶的；月朔和安息日，并宣召的大会，也是我所憎恶的；作罪孽，又守严肃会，我也不能容忍。你们的月朔和节期，我心里恨恶，我都以为麻烦；我担当，便不耐烦。你们举手祷告，我必遮眼不看；就是你们多多地祈祷，我也不听。你们的手都满了杀人的血。

论到那些已经蒙了光照、尝过天恩的滋味、又于圣灵有份，并尝过神善道的滋味、觉悟来世权能的人，若是离弃道理，就不能叫他们从新懊悔了。因为他们把神的儿子重钉十字架，明明地羞辱他。

你们亲近神，神就必亲近你们。有罪的人哪，要洁净你们的手！心怀二意的人哪，要清洁你们的心！

所以，你们既除去一切的恶毒、诡诈，并假善、嫉妒，和一切毁谤的话，就要爱慕那纯净的灵奶，像才生的婴孩爱慕奶一样，叫你们因此渐长，以致得救。

那撒在石头地上的，就是人听了道，立刻欢喜领受，但他心里没有根，不过是暂时的，及至为道遭了患难，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。

百姓却在所当灭的物中，取了最好的牛羊，要在吉甲献与耶和华你的神。”撒母耳说：“耶和华喜悦燔祭和平安祭，岂如喜悦人听从他的话呢？听命胜于献祭；顺从胜于公羊的脂油。悖逆的罪与行邪术的罪相等；顽梗的罪与拜虚神和偶像的罪相同。你既厌弃耶和华的命令，耶和华也厌弃你作王。”扫罗对撒母耳说：“我有罪了，我因惧怕百姓，听从他们的话，就违背了耶和华的命令和你的言语。现在求你赦免我的罪，同我回去，我好敬拜耶和华。”
