彼日尋我、樂知我道、求我示以義律、悅親上帝有若行義之民、未違上帝之律、

彼日崇事余、求我道、詰我法、欣然詣我前、幾與行義之民、不違上帝無異。

彼眾日日尋求我、願明我道、似乎行義之民、不違其天主法度者、以義理求問於我、悅與天主相近、

For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.

Day after day they worship me. They seem ready and willing to know how I want them to live. They act as if they were a nation that does what is right. They act as if they have not turned away from my commands. They claim to want me to give them fair decisions. They seem ready and willing to come near and worship me.

Yet they seek me daily and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the judgment of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God.

Yet they act so pious! They come to the Temple every day and seem delighted to learn all about me. They act like a righteous nation that would never abandon the laws of its God. They ask me to take action on their behalf, pretending they want to be near me.

They seek me day after day and delight to know my ways, like a nation that does what is right and does not abandon the justice of their God. They ask me for righteous judgments; they delight in the nearness of God.”

Yet they seek Me day by day and delight to know My ways, As a nation that has done righteousness And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God. They ask Me for just decisions, They delight in the nearness of God.

Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.

Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways: as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near unto God.

They seek Me day after day and delight to know My ways, like a nation that does what is right and does not abandon the justice of their God. They ask Me for righteous judgments; they delight in the nearness of God.”

Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

They seek me day after day; they want to know my requirements, like a nation that does what is right and does not reject the law of their God. They ask me for just decrees; they want to be near God.

Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways. As a nation that did righteousness, and didn’t forsake the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments. They delight to draw near to God.

主說：「因為這子民嘴上親近我，用嘴唇尊重我，他們的心卻遠離我；他們敬畏我，不過是遵行人所教導的規條；

他們聲稱認識神，卻在行為上否認他。他們是可憎惡的、悖逆的，在任何美善的工作上都經不起考驗。

你們這些偽善的人哪！以賽亞指著你們所說的預言是對的，他說：『這子民用嘴唇尊重我，他們的心卻遠離我。他們敬拜我也是徒然的，因為他們把人的規條當做教義教導人。』」

「雅各家啊——你們是被稱為以色列名下的，是從猶大水源而出的；你們指著耶和華的名起誓並提說以色列的神，不憑誠實，也不憑公義；你們自稱是聖城的人，依靠的是名為萬軍之耶和華以色列的神——你們要聽這話：

因此，你們要脫去一切的汙穢和滿盈的惡毒，要以溫柔的心接受那栽種在你們裡面的話語，就是能拯救你們靈魂的話語。你們要成為這話語的實行者，不要只成為聽者而欺騙自己。

約翰是一盞燃燒發光的燈，你們情願在他的光裡快樂一時。

惡人的祭物，為耶和華所憎惡；正直人的禱告，為他所悅納。

那些人來對耶穌說：「老師，我們知道你是真誠的。你不顧忌任何人，因為你不看人的情面，而是按真理教導神的道。請問，向凱撒納稅，可以不可以呢？我們該交還是不該交呢？」

這是因為希律敬畏約翰，知道他是義人，是聖人，所以保護著他。希律聽約翰講說的時候，雖然心裡十分困惑，還是樂意聽他的。

耶和華說：「你們所獻的眾多祭物，對我有什麼意義呢？公綿羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已經膩煩了；公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血，我也不喜悅。你們來朝見我時，誰向你們要求這踐踏我院宇的事呢？不要再帶無用的供物了！獻祭的香，是我所憎惡的；新月節、安息日、宣召的聚會——邪惡的嚴肅集會，是我不能容忍的。你們的新月節和所定的節期，是我心裡所恨惡的；它們成了我的重負，我已厭倦不堪。你們伸開雙手禱告的時候，我必掩目不看你們；就算你們多多禱告，我也不垂聽。你們的雙手沾滿了血！

原來，如果有人蒙過一次光照、嘗過屬天恩賜的滋味、曾經與聖靈有份、嘗過神美善的話語和將要來臨之世代的權能，卻背棄了真理，就不可能再次更新以至於悔改了。因為他們親自把神的兒子再次釘上十字架，公然羞辱他。

你們要親近神，神就會親近你們。你們這些罪人哪，當使你們的手潔淨！心懷二意的人哪，當使你們的心純潔！

所以，你們要脫去一切惡毒、一切詭詐、偽善、嫉妒，以及一切的誹謗，要像剛出生的嬰孩一樣，愛慕那純淨的話語之奶，好使你們藉著它成長，以至於救恩，

那被撒上話語的『岩石地』是這樣一些人：他們一旦聽了這話語，就立刻懷著喜樂的心接受了它；可是他們裡面沒有根而不能持久，一旦為這話語受患難或逼迫，他們立刻就放棄了。

軍兵還從戰利品中取了一些牛羊，是當滅之物中那些上好的，要在吉甲獻祭給耶和華你的神。」撒母耳說：「耶和華喜悅燔祭和祭物，難道與喜悅人聽從耶和華的話等同嗎？看哪，聽從勝過獻祭，聽命勝過公綿羊的脂油；要知道，悖逆如同占卜的罪，頑梗就像拜偶像的惡。你既然厭棄耶和華的話，耶和華也厭棄你作王。」掃羅對撒母耳說：「我犯罪了！我確實違背了耶和華的吩咐和你的話語。因為我怕軍兵，就聽了他們的話。現在，請你饒恕我的罪，與我一同回去，讓我敬拜耶和華。」
