彼日崇事余、求我道、詰我法、欣然詣我前、幾與行義之民、不違上帝無異。

彼眾日日尋求我、願明我道、似乎行義之民、不違其天主法度者、以義理求問於我、悅與天主相近、

For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.

Day after day they worship me. They seem ready and willing to know how I want them to live. They act as if they were a nation that does what is right. They act as if they have not turned away from my commands. They claim to want me to give them fair decisions. They seem ready and willing to come near and worship me.

Yet they seek me daily and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the judgment of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God.

Yet they act so pious! They come to the Temple every day and seem delighted to learn all about me. They act like a righteous nation that would never abandon the laws of its God. They ask me to take action on their behalf, pretending they want to be near me.

They seek me day after day and delight to know my ways, like a nation that does what is right and does not abandon the justice of their God. They ask me for righteous judgments; they delight in the nearness of God.”

Yet they seek Me day by day and delight to know My ways, As a nation that has done righteousness And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God. They ask Me for just decisions, They delight in the nearness of God.

Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My ways, As a nation that did righteousness, And did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; They take delight in approaching God.

They seek me day after day; they want to know my requirements, like a nation that does what is right and does not reject the law of their God. They ask me for just decrees; they want to be near God.

主说：“因为这子民嘴上亲近我，用嘴唇尊重我，他们的心却远离我；他们敬畏我，不过是遵行人所教导的规条；

他们声称认识神，却在行为上否认他。他们是可憎恶的、悖逆的，在任何美善的工作上都经不起考验。

你们这些伪善的人哪！以赛亚指着你们所说的预言是对的，他说：‘这子民用嘴唇尊重我，他们的心却远离我。他们敬拜我也是徒然的，因为他们把人的规条当做教义教导人。’”

“雅各家啊——你们是被称为以色列名下的，是从犹大水源而出的；你们指着耶和华的名起誓并提说以色列的神，不凭诚实，也不凭公义；你们自称是圣城的人，依靠的是名为万军之耶和华以色列的神——你们要听这话：

因此，你们要脱去一切的污秽和满盈的恶毒，要以温柔的心接受那栽种在你们里面的话语，就是能拯救你们灵魂的话语。你们要成为这话语的实行者，不要只成为听者而欺骗自己。

约翰是一盏燃烧发光的灯，你们情愿在他的光里快乐一时。

恶人的祭物，为耶和华所憎恶；正直人的祷告，为他所悦纳。

那些人来对耶稣说：“老师，我们知道你是真诚的。你不顾忌任何人，因为你不看人的情面，而是按真理教导神的道。请问，向凯撒纳税，可以不可以呢？我们该交还是不该交呢？”

这是因为希律敬畏约翰，知道他是义人，是圣人，所以保护着他。希律听约翰讲说的时候，虽然心里十分困惑，还是乐意听他的。

耶和华说：“你们所献的众多祭物，对我有什么意义呢？公绵羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂油，我已经腻烦了；公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血，我也不喜悦。你们来朝见我时，谁向你们要求这践踏我庭院的事呢？不要再带无用的供物了！献祭的香，是我所憎恶的；新月节、安息日、宣召的聚会——邪恶的严肃会，是我不能容忍的。你们的新月节和所定的节期，是我心里所恨恶的；它们成了我的重负，我已厌倦不堪。你们伸开双手祷告的时候，我必掩目不看你们；就算你们多多祷告，我也不垂听。你们的双手沾满了血！

原来，如果有人蒙过一次光照、尝过属天恩赐的滋味、曾经与圣灵有份、尝过神美善的话语和将要来临之世代的权能，却背弃了真理，就不可能再次更新以至于悔改了。因为他们亲自把神的儿子再次钉上十字架，公然羞辱他。

你们要亲近神，神就会亲近你们。你们这些罪人哪，当使你们的手洁净！心怀二意的人哪，当使你们的心纯洁！

所以，你们要脱去一切恶毒、一切诡诈、伪善、嫉妒，以及一切的诽谤，要像刚出生的婴孩一样，爱慕那纯净的话语之奶，好使你们藉着它成长，以至于救恩，

那被撒上话语的‘岩石地’是这样一些人：他们一旦听了这话语，就立刻怀着喜乐的心接受了它；可是他们里面没有根而不能持久，一旦为这话语受患难或逼迫，他们立刻就放弃了。

军兵还从战利品中取了一些牛羊，是当灭之物中那些上好的，要在吉甲献祭给耶和华你的神。”撒母耳说：“耶和华喜悦燔祭和祭物，难道与喜悦人听从耶和华的话等同吗？看哪，听从胜过献祭，听命胜过公绵羊的脂油；要知道，悖逆如同占卜的罪，顽梗就像拜偶像的恶。你既然厌弃耶和华的话，耶和华也厌弃你作王。”扫罗对撒母耳说：“我犯罪了！我确实违背了耶和华的吩咐和你的话语。因为我怕军兵，就听了他们的话。现在，请你饶恕我的罪，与我一同回去，让我敬拜耶和华。”
