彼日尋我、樂知我道、求我示以義律、悅親上帝有若行義之民、未違上帝之律、

彼日崇事余、求我道、詰我法、欣然詣我前、幾與行義之民、不違上帝無異。

彼眾日日尋求我、願明我道、似乎行義之民、不違其天主法度者、以義理求問於我、悅與天主相近、

For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.

Day after day they worship me. They seem ready and willing to know how I want them to live. They act as if they were a nation that does what is right. They act as if they have not turned away from my commands. They claim to want me to give them fair decisions. They seem ready and willing to come near and worship me.

Yet they seek me daily and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the judgment of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God.

Yet they act so pious! They come to the Temple every day and seem delighted to learn all about me. They act like a righteous nation that would never abandon the laws of its God. They ask me to take action on their behalf, pretending they want to be near me.

They seek me day after day and delight to know my ways, like a nation that does what is right and does not abandon the justice of their God. They ask me for righteous judgments; they delight in the nearness of God.”

Yet they seek Me day by day and delight to know My ways, As a nation that has done righteousness And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God. They ask Me for just decisions, They delight in the nearness of God.

They seek me day after day; they want to know my requirements, like a nation that does what is right and does not reject the law of their God. They ask me for just decrees; they want to be near God.

主说：“这些人嘴上亲近我，尊崇我，心却远离我。他们敬拜我不过是遵行人定的规条。

他们自称认识上帝，在行为上却否认祂。他们令人可憎，悖逆成性，一无是处。

你们这些伪君子，以赛亚指着你们说的预言一点不错，“‘这些人嘴上尊崇我，心却远离我，他们的教导无非是人的规条，他们敬拜我也是枉然。’”

“雅各家啊，听我说！你们被称为以色列人，是犹大的子孙，凭耶和华的名起誓、呼求以色列的上帝，却不真心诚意。你们还自称为圣城的人，声称倚靠名为万军之耶和华的以色列的上帝。

所以你们要除去所有的污秽和一切的恶习，谦卑地领受那已经栽种在你们心里、能救你们灵魂的真道。你们要行道，不要只是听道，自己欺骗自己。

约翰是一盏点亮的明灯，你们情愿暂时享受他的光。

耶和华憎恨恶人的祭物，悦纳正直人的祈祷。

你们是在自欺，因为原是你们请我去向我们的上帝耶和华祈求，让我毫不隐瞒地把祂的话告诉你们，你们也答应遵行。

对耶利米先知说：“求你答应我们的恳求，为我们这些余民向我们的上帝耶和华祈求。你也看见了，我们本来人数众多，现在却寥寥无几。

他们上前对耶稣说：“老师，我们知道你诚实无伪，不看人的情面，因为你不以貌取人，而是按真理传上帝的道。那么，向凯撒纳税对不对呢？

因为希律知道约翰是个公义圣洁的人，所以敬畏他，并对他加以保护。尽管约翰所讲的道理令他困惑不安，他仍然喜欢听。

“人子啊，你的同胞在墙边和门口彼此议论你说，‘来，听听耶和华要他传什么信息。’他们随着人群来到你面前，坐着聆听你的话，俨然像我的子民。但他们不付诸实行，嘴里说的是甜言蜜语，心中却追求不义之财。他们只听不做，你在他们眼中只不过是善唱情歌、长于弹奏乐器的人。看吧，我所说的必定应验。当一切应验的时候，他们就知道有先知在他们当中。”

“耶和华听见了你们的话，就对我说，‘我听见了众人对你说的话，他们所说的都对。但愿他们常常敬畏我，遵从我的一切诫命，以便他们和他们的子孙世世代代可以蒙福。

耶和华说：“你们献上许多祭物，对我有什么用呢？我厌烦公绵羊的燔祭和肥畜的脂肪，我不喜欢公牛、羊羔和公山羊的血。“你们来敬拜我的时候，谁要求你们带着这些来践踏我的院宇呢？不要再带毫无意义的祭物了。我憎恶你们烧的香，厌恶你们的朔日、安息日和大会。你们又作恶又举行庄严的聚会，令我无法容忍。我憎恶你们的朔日及其他节期，它们成了我的重担，令我厌倦。你们举手祷告，我必掩面不理。即使你们祷告再多，我也不会听，因为你们双手沾满鲜血。

有些人曾蒙上帝光照，尝过天赐恩典的滋味，有份于圣灵，尝过上帝之道的甘美，领悟到永世的权能，却背弃了真道，让他们重新悔改是不可能的。因为他们等于把上帝的儿子重新钉在十字架上，使祂再度公开受辱。

你们亲近上帝，上帝就必亲近你们。有罪的人啊，洗净你们的手吧！三心二意的人啊，洁净你们的心吧！

因此，你们既然已经除去一切恶毒、欺诈、虚伪、嫉妒和毁谤，就要像初生的婴儿一样渴慕纯净的灵奶，好不断成长，直到完全得救。

种子落在石头地上，是指人听了道后，立刻欢喜地接受了，但他们心里没有根基，不过是暂时接受，一旦为道遭受患难和迫害，就立刻放弃了。

士兵们却从本该毁灭的战利品中取了上好的牛羊，准备在吉甲奉献给你的上帝耶和华。”撒母耳说：“耶和华喜欢燔祭和其他祭物，还是喜欢人们听从祂的话？顺服胜于献祭，听从耶和华胜过向祂献上公羊的脂肪。叛逆不亚于行巫术的罪，顽固不化无异于拜偶像。你拒绝耶和华的命令，祂也拒绝你做王。”扫罗对撒母耳说：“我犯罪了！我违背了耶和华的命令和你的指示。我因惧怕百姓，就听从了他们。现在求你赦免我的罪，跟我一起回去，我好敬拜耶和华。”
