Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

Your people will rebuild the cities that were destroyed long ago. And you will build again on the old foundations. You will be called One Who Repairs Broken Walls. You will be called One Who Makes City Streets Like New Again.

And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.

Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and a restorer of homes.

耶和华已经安慰锡安和锡安一切的荒场，使旷野像伊甸，使沙漠像耶和华的园囿；在其中必有欢喜、快乐、感谢，和歌唱的声音。

我对王说：“仆人若在王眼前蒙恩，王若喜欢，求王差遣我往犹大，到我列祖坟墓所在的那城去，我好重新建造。”

论居鲁士说：‘他是我的牧人，必成就我所喜悦的，必下令建造耶路撒冷，发命立稳圣殿的根基。’”

耶和华说：“日子将到，这城必为耶和华建造，从哈楠业楼直到角门。

参巴拉听见我们修造城墙就发怒，大大恼恨，嗤笑犹大人，对他弟兄和撒玛利亚的军兵说：“这些软弱的犹大人做什么呢？要保护自己吗？要献祭吗？要一日成功吗？要从土堆里拿出火烧的石头再立墙吗？”亚扪人多比雅站在旁边，说：“他们所修造的石墙，就是狐狸上去也必跐倒。”我们的神啊，求你垂听，因为我们被藐视。求你使他们的毁谤归于他们的头上，使他们在掳到之地作为掠物。不要遮掩他们的罪孽，不要使他们的罪恶从你面前涂抹，因为他们在修造的人眼前惹动你的怒气。这样，我们修造城墙，城墙就都连络，高至一半，因为百姓专心做工。参巴拉、多比雅、阿拉伯人、亚扪人、亚实突人听见修造耶路撒冷城墙，着手进行堵塞破裂的地方，就甚发怒。

你当知道，当明白，从出令重新建造耶路撒冷，直到有受膏君的时候，必有七个七和六十二个七。正在艰难的时候，耶路撒冷城连街带濠都必重新建造。

参巴拉、多比雅、阿拉伯人基善和我们其余的仇敌听见我已经修完了城墙，其中没有破裂之处（那时我还没有安门扇），

故此，以色列山要听主耶和华的话。大山小冈、水沟山谷、荒废之地、被弃之城，为四围其余的外邦人所占据、所讥刺的，
