溪中光石、乃爾所得、為爾之業、為之灌奠、而獻素祭、爾既行此、我豈能不怒乎、

谷中光石、爾崇拜以為己分、爾奉事以為當然、亦為之灌奠獻祭、此事我豈能容忍、

The idols among the smooth stones of the ravines are your portion; indeed, they are your lot. Yes, to them you have poured out drink offerings and offered grain offerings. In view of all this, should I relent?

You have chosen some of the smooth stones in the valleys to be your gods. You have joined yourselves to them. You have even poured out drink offerings to them. You have given grain offerings to them. So why should I take pity on you?

Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion; they, they, are your lot; to them you have poured out a drink offering, you have brought a grain offering. Shall I relent for these things?

Your gods are the smooth stones in the valleys. You worship them with liquid offerings and grain offerings. They, not I, are your inheritance. Do you think all this makes me happy?

Your portion is among the smooth stones of the wadi; indeed, they are your lot. You have even poured out a drink offering to them; you have offered a grain offering; should I be satisfied with these?

Among the smooth stones of the valley is thy portion; they, they are thy lot; even to them hast thou poured a drink- offering, thou hast offered an oblation. Shall I be appeased for these things?

Among the smooth stones of the stream are the idols you love; they, they are the object of your devotion. You pour out liquid offerings to them, you make an offering. Because of these things I will seek vengeance.

因以色列把自己的淫行視作等閒，去與石頭木頭行淫，就把這地玷污了。

兒子撿柴，父親生火，婦女摶麵，為天后做餅，又向別的神澆奠祭，惹我發怒。

你這對木頭說“起來”，對啞石說“醒吧”的人，有禍了！它怎能教導你呢？看哪！它包金鑲銀，裡面卻全無氣息。

以色列家啊，至於你們，主耶和華這樣說：你們各人去事奉自己的偶像吧！只是將來你們必要聽從我，不可再以你們的供物和偶像褻瀆我的聖名。

宰牛獻祭，又殺人，獻羊羔為祭，又打折狗的頸項；獻上素祭，又獻上豬血；燒乳香作記念祭，又稱頌虛無之神；他們選擇他們自己的道路，他們的心裡喜悅他們那些可憎惡的事。

我因這些事怎能不懲罰他們呢？像這樣的國家，我怎能不親自報復呢？”這是耶和華的宣告。

攻打這城的迦勒底人必進來，放火燒城，城中的房屋都必燒光，因為這城的居民曾在那些房屋的屋頂上向巴力燒香，向別神澆奠祭，惹我發怒。

我因這些事怎能不施行懲罰呢？像這樣的國家，我怎能不親自報復呢？”這是耶和華的宣告。

我們口中說過的一切話，我們一定去作，我們要向天后燒香，澆奠祭，好像我們自己和我們的列祖，以及我們的君王和領袖，在猶大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上所行的一樣。那時我們吃得飽，得享福樂，不見災禍。但是，自從我們停止向天后燒香和澆奠祭以後，我們就樣樣都缺乏，又因刀劍和饑荒滅亡。”那些婦女又說：“我們不錯是向天后燒香和澆奠祭，難道我們的丈夫不知道我們照著天后的形象製餅供奉她，向她澆奠祭嗎？”耶利米對全體人民，對那些用這話答覆他的男人、女人和眾民說：“你們和你們的列祖，以及你們的君王、領袖，和全國的人民，在猶大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上燒的香，耶和華怎能忘記，他心裡怎能不想起呢？耶和華再不能容忍你們邪惡的行為，和你們所行可憎的事；故此，你們的土地荒涼，成了令人驚駭、被人咒詛的對象，沒有人居住，好像今天一樣。因為你們向別神燒香，得罪了耶和華，不聽從耶和華的話，不遵行他的律法、條例和法度，所以這災禍臨到你們，好像今天一樣。”耶利米又對眾民和眾婦女說：“在埃及地所有的猶大人哪，要聽耶和華的話！萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘你們和你們的妻子親口說過：我們一定要實行我們的願，向天后燒香，澆奠祭。你們果然親手作了。現在你們只管持定你們所許的願，只管實行你們的誓言吧！’

他必說：‘他們的神在哪裡呢？他們投靠的磐石在哪裡呢？就是向來吃他們祭牲脂肪的，喝他們奠祭之酒的神在哪裡呢？讓他們興起來幫助你們吧，願他們保護你們吧！

“但至於你們，你們這些離棄耶和華的，忘記我的聖山的，為迦得神擺設筵席的，給彌尼神盛滿調和之酒的，
