“至于你们这些巫婆的子孙，奸夫和妓女的种子，近前来到这里吧！

你們這些巫婆的兒子，姦夫和妓女的種子，都要前來！

到這裏來吧！你們這些巫婆的兒子，姦夫和妓女的後代；

但你們呢，巫婆的兒子啊，姦夫和妓女的種啊，走近前到這裏來吧！

惟爾女巫之子、奸夫與妓之裔、其前而聽、

惟爾淫亂之人、術數之徒、咸集於此。

惟爾女巫之子、姦淫之人及妓女所生者、咸可來此、

“ But you— come here, you children of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes!

When the crowds came to John for baptism, he said,“ You brood of snakes! Who warned you to flee the coming wrath?

Say to the nations far and wide:“ Get ready for war! Call out your best warriors. Let all your fighting men advance for the attack.Hammer your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Train even your weaklings to be warriors.Come quickly, all you nations everywhere. Gather together in the valley.” And now, O Lord, call out your warriors!

See how Jerusalem, once so faithful, has become a prostitute. Once the home of justice and righteousness, she is now filled with murderers.

And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”

You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say.

Snakes! Sons of vipers! How will you escape the judgment of hell?

In her hand she held a gold goblet full of obscenities and the impurities of her immorality.A mysterious name was written on her forehead:“ Babylon the Great, Mother of All Prostitutes and Obscenities in the World.”
