但你们这些巫妇的儿子，奸夫和妓女的后裔啊！你们都走近这里行奸淫吧！

“至于你们这些巫婆的子孙，奸夫和妓女的种子，近前来到这里吧！

你們這些巫婆的兒子，姦夫和妓女的種子，都要前來！

到這裏來吧！你們這些巫婆的兒子，姦夫和妓女的後代；

到這裏來吧！你們這些巫婆的兒子，姦夫和妓女的後代；

但你們呢，巫婆的兒子啊，姦夫和妓女的種啊，走近前到這裏來吧！

「至於你們這些巫婆的子孫，姦夫和妓女的種子，近前來到這裡吧！

惟爾女巫之子、奸夫與妓之裔、其前而聽、

惟爾淫亂之人、術數之徒、咸集於此。

惟爾女巫之子、姦淫之人及妓女所生者、咸可來此、

“ But you— come here, you children of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes!

The Lord says,“ Come here, you children of women who practice evil magic! You are children of prostitutes and those who commit adultery.

But you, draw near, sons of the sorceress, offspring of the adulterer and the loose woman.

“ But you— come here, you witches’ children, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes!

But come here, you witch’s sons, offspring of an adulterer and a prostitute!

“ But come here, you sons of a sorceress, Offspring of an adulterer and a prostitute!

“ But come here, You sons of the sorceress, You offspring of the adulterer and the harlot!

But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the harlot.

“ But draw near here, you sons of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes.

A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” Then he left them and went away.

So John said to the crowds that came out to be baptized by him,“ You offspring of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?

Proclaim this among the nations:“ Prepare for a holy war! Call out the warriors! Let all these fighting men approach and attack!Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears! Let the weak say,‘ I too am a warrior!’Lend your aid and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves to that place.” Bring down, O LORD, your warriors!

How tragic that the once- faithful city has become a prostitute! She was once a center of justice, fairness resided in her, but now only murderers.

And I will put hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; her offspring will attack your head, and you will attack her offspring’s heel.”

Offspring of vipers! How are you able to say anything good, since you are evil? For the mouth speaks from what fills the heart.

You snakes, you offspring of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?

Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world means hostility toward God? So whoever decides to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy.

She held in her hand a golden cup filled with detestable things and unclean things from her sexual immorality.On her forehead was written a name, a mystery:“ Babylon the Great, the Mother of prostitutes and of the detestable things of the earth.”

Abraham did not do this!You people are doing the deeds of your father.” Then they said to Jesus,“ We were not born as a result of immorality! We have only one Father, God himself.”Jesus replied,“ If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come from God and am now here. I have not come on my own initiative, but he sent me.Why don’t you understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot accept my teaching.You people are from your father the devil, and you want to do what your father desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.
