让我们靠着基督，常常开口以颂赞为祭献给上帝，这是承认主名的人所结的果子。

也请你们为我祷告，求上帝赐我口才，让我勇敢地把福音的奥秘讲解明白。

要为我们祷告，求上帝为我们打开传道的门，好传扬基督的奥秘——我就是为此而被囚禁的。也要求上帝使我能尽自己的本分把这奥秘讲清楚。

上帝借着万物的主宰——耶稣基督把平安的福音传给以色列人。

因为我会赐给你们口才、智慧，使你们的仇敌全无反驳的余地。

你要归向耶和华，向祂忏悔说：“求你赦免我们的罪，施恩悦纳我们，好叫我们以赞美为祭献给你！

用炭碰我的嘴唇，说：“看啊，这炭碰了你的嘴唇，你的过犯已被除掉，你的罪恶已被赦免。”

“在至高之处，愿荣耀归于上帝！在地上，愿平安临到祂所喜悦的人！”

无论到哪一户人家，要先说，‘愿祝福临到这家！’如果那里有配得祝福的人，祝福自然会临到那人，否则祝福仍归给你们。

因为基督耶稣亲自给我们带来了和平，以自己的身体拆毁了以色列人和外族人之间充满敌意的隔墙，使双方合而为一，并废除了以诫命和规条为内容的律法制度。祂这样做是为了在自己里面把双方造成一个新人，成就和平，并借着十字架消灭彼此间的敌意，使双方借着一个身体与上帝和好。祂来传扬这平安的福音给你们这些离上帝很远的外族人，也给我们这些离上帝很近的以色列人。

如果那家配得福气，你们的祝福必临到他们；如果那家不配蒙福，祝福仍归给你们。

耶稣又对他们说：“你们要到世界各地去，向全人类传扬福音。

所以我们现在是基督的大使，可以说上帝正借着我们发出呼求。我们替基督恳求你们：要与上帝和好！上帝使无罪的基督担当我们的罪，使我们可以借着基督成为被上帝接纳的义人。

耶和华对他说：“是谁造人的口舌？是谁使人变成哑巴或聋子？是谁使人目明或眼瞎？不都是我耶和华吗？去吧！我必赐给你口才，指示你说什么话。”
