I was enraged by their sinful greed; I punished them, and hid my face in anger, yet they kept on in their willful ways.

I was very angry with them. They always longed for more and more of everything. So I punished them for that sin. I turned my face away from them because I was angry. But they kept on wanting their own way.

Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry, I struck him; I hid my face and was angry, but he went on backsliding in the way of his own heart.

I was angry, so I punished these greedy people. I withdrew from them, but they kept going on their own stubborn way.

这些人就像贪吃的狗，不知饱足，又像什么都不懂的牧人，人人各行其是，追求自己的利益。

因为他们无论贵贱，个个都贪图不义之财；无论是先知还是祭司，都行为诡诈。

一切淫乱、污秽或贪婪的事在你们当中连提都不要提，才合乎圣徒的身份。污言秽语、愚昧粗俗的谈笑都不合宜，总要说感恩的话才好。因为你们清楚知道，淫乱的人、污秽的人，还有贪婪的人，就是拜偶像的人，在基督和上帝的国里没有立足之地。

我责打你们的儿女，却是徒劳，因为他们不受管教。你们杀害你们的先知，残暴如狮子。

可是，你一心贪图不义之财，滥杀无辜，横征暴敛。”

因此，我要把他们的妻子和田地交给别人，因为他们无论贵贱，个个贪图不义之财；无论是先知还是祭司，都行为诡诈。

接着，祂对众人说：“你们要小心防范一切的贪心，因为人的生命并不在于家道富足。”

唉！你们这罪恶的民族，恶贯满盈的百姓，作恶的子孙，败坏的儿女！你们背弃耶和华，藐视以色列的圣者，与祂疏远。

很快囊空如洗，又遇到严重的饥荒，就陷入困境，只好投靠一个当地人。那人派他到田里去放猪，他饿到恨不得拿喂猪的豆荚充饥，可是连这些也没有人给他。

那些不断建房置田、占光土地、独居其中的人有祸了！我亲耳听到万军之耶和华说：“许多富丽堂皇的房屋必荒废，无人居住。

他们随着人群来到你面前，坐着聆听你的话，俨然像我的子民。但他们不付诸实行，嘴里说的是甜言蜜语，心中却追求不义之财。

耶和华啊，你要的不是诚实吗？你责打他们，他们不感到疼痛；你严惩他们，他们仍不受教。他们屡教不改，脸比石头还硬。

他们贪图田地，就去霸占；想要房屋，就去抢夺。他们欺压人，诈取别人的家园和产业。所以，耶和华说：“我正计划降灾惩罚你们，你们无法逃脱，再也不能趾高气扬，因为这是你们灾祸临头的日子。

虽然耶和华掩面不顾雅各家，但我仍要等候祂，冀望于祂。

他们贪婪成性，想用花言巧语在你们身上谋利。这种人的刑罚自古已经判定，他们很快就会灭亡。

那些渴望发财的人却陷入诱惑、网罗和许多愚蠢有害的欲望中，以致落入败坏和灭亡中。

满足于眼前所有的，胜过心中贪想的。这也是虚空，如同捕风。

但以色列人没有归向万军之耶和华，也不寻求祂。

所以，你们要治死身上属世的罪恶，如淫乱、污秽、邪情、恶欲和贪心，贪心就是拜偶像，

他们眼中充满淫欲，不停地犯罪，引诱那些信心不坚定的人。他们贪婪成性，实在是该受咒诅！

救主——以色列的上帝啊，你真是一位隐藏自己的上帝。
