For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:“ I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

因為那崇高又高聳的這麼說，那住「永恆」、其名為聖者說：『我住崇高而至聖的所在，也跟心靈痛悔而謙卑的人同住，要使謙卑人的靈活起來，使痛悔之人的心復活。

那至高至尊、永遠長存、名為至聖者的如此說：「我住在至高至聖的地方，也與靈裡痛悔的人和謙卑的人同在，使謙卑的人靈裡復甦，使痛悔的人心裡復甦。

巍巍在上、永永其居、名為聖者曰、我居高而且聖之所、且與痛悔謙冲之人偕居、以蘇謙冲者之神、而暢痛悔者之心、

我永生之主、至聖至高、居聖所、坐高位、凡謙卑遜順者、我與偕居、活潑其心神、暢快其意志。

至高至上永生、名為聖主者如是云、我雖居至高聖所、亦與痛悔者虛心者偕居、使謙卑者心蘇、使痛悔者心蘇、

For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy:“ I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.

The God who is highly honored lives forever. His name is holy. He says,“ I live in a high and holy place. But I also live with anyone who turns away from their sins. I live with anyone who is not proud. I give new life to them. I give it to anyone who turns away from their sins.

The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this:“ I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.

For the High and Exalted One, who lives forever, whose name is holy, says this:“ I live in a high and holy place, and with the oppressed and lowly of spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the oppressed.

For this is what the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says:“ I dwell in a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Thus says the Lord:“ Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says the Lord.“ But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.

“ Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?

Though the Lord is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar.

And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say,‘ Destroy!’

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth.

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.

For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name.

The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens.Who is like the Lord our God, Who dwells on high,Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth?

Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.

who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

“ No one is holy like the Lord, For there is none besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God.

Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens.

But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.

because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before God when you heard His words against this place and against its inhabitants, and you humbled yourself before Me, and you tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you,” says the Lord.

“ The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”

I have been established from everlasting, From the beginning, before there was ever an earth.

But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations will not be able to endure His indignation.

Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name YAH, And rejoice before Him.A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.

And one cried to another and said:“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”

Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.

“ But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”

For You, Lord, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.

“ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,‘ These things says He who is holy, He who is true,“ He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”:

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever: Holy and awesome is His name.

The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:“ Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”

Let them praise Your great and awesome name— He is holy.

But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:“ God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”

and the Lord said to him,“ Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.

In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

that you may remember and be ashamed, and never open your mouth anymore because of your shame, when I provide you an atonement for all you have done,” says the Lord God.’”

“ But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!

Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!”

Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,

this is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the Most High, which has come upon my Lord the king:They shall drive you from men, your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make you eat grass like oxen. They shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.

so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow.

who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

‘ This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men.’

But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,

“ And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.And the son said to him,‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’“ But the father said to his servants,‘ Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry;for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.

Then Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.
