爾因多謀、而致疲憊、維彼觀天象、察星辰、每月預告將來之事者、今其起立、庶可救爾、免罹後患、

諸民勞力乃為火、列邦辛苦歸於虛、此非由於萬軍之耶和華乎、

爾何奔馳、改易爾途、昔緣亞述而蒙羞、今於埃及、亦必蒙恥、

故甘霖不降、春雨不零、惟爾具有淫婦之顏、不知羞愧、

我必成我口所言、焚香灌奠於天后、循我及我祖、我王、我牧伯、在猶大諸邑、及耶路撒冷街衢所為、蓋其時我儕足食晏安、不遘災禍、自我不焚香灌奠於天后、則無不缺乏、亡於鋒刃饑饉、

昔我無律而生、誡至、罪復生而我死、

亞哈斯王困苦之際、愈干犯耶和華、祭大馬色即擊之者之神、曰、亞蘭王之神既助之、我亦祭之、俾其助我、然斯神使彼與以色列眾偕亡、

斯邑勞力致疲、其銹仍未滌除、必炙以火、
